    Piper Ali
My name is not Piper. Regardless of that, call me Piper. I write fiction, which is appealing to me because I spend most of my time thinking "what if?" because I would rather prefer the world if it was different. I want writing to be my life because my real one isn't good enough. Some books I have liked are The Fault in Our Stars, Eragon, The Mortal Instruments, and The Hunger Games. Just so you can get an idea of what genres I write.

As an author, my favorite part of writing is developing the characters throughout the story. Sometimes I will use the same character over and over again in my writing, but with some slight changes. But for me, it's always best to start a new character from scratch to make it more interesting.

Usually, I fill out a chart that goes something like this:

Name:

Age:

Gender:

Looks/Appearance:

Personality/Attitude:

Backstory:

Extra: (in case I forgot anything)

Story Genre:

For this contest, you will be creating your own character based on this outline. Of course, you can add categories, but it would be preferable if you filled out at least all of these. So let's say your character was in an action story, you could add categories like "Weapon of Choice" or "Superpower", or things like that. You can make your character anything you want: a zombie, a vampire, an animal. The possibilities are endless.
