Hildur Ushio and Emery Johannsson are two journalists, whose countries were once on opposing sides of the Eastern Worlds War, yet they were fortunate enough to befriend each other and discover and reveal the truth about the war, thus ending it. But one war ends and another one follows. The world may be plagued with war, but the people have the art, music, and films of one Shizukana Siano to distract them.  No one knows who Shizukana Siano really is, but many try to find out. Hildur and Emery grow even closer throughout the years, a second war, Siano's work, and the many truths they come to discover, some much harder to bare than others.
