The war destroyed everything.  Families, civilization, humankind as we know it.  The only thing left to do was rebuild what had been torn down by hatred and wicked intentions.  

Seline is a Homo Idem, one of the saved, in a society where humans are extinct.  Where it is treason to be different, Seline is happy in a society where she belongs.   

The Hatari, or the uncured, is the only threat to this perfect society. 

When everything Seline has been told is chalked up to one big lie, will she continue to pretend her world isn't crashing, or will she stand up and fight?
