I just joined this community and wanted to have a good foundation in it.  I've been looking for communities to share ideas, collaborate, and eventually publish a full fledge book in the hopes of becoming recognized, or at least be proud that I published a book. 

So I bit about me is that I enjoy long walks on the beach, smart intelligent people...Haha! just kidding.  I enjoy writing broad genres, ranging from high fantasy to space pirates fighting ninjas, mystery to traveling beyond the seven seas in a world full of strange creatures.  Most of my ideas come from my love of adventure, seeing things that most people would never realize look absolutely stunning!  I consider myself a slightly above average writer, just above armature high school level but just below adult writer, maybe because I'm not an adult yet?  Haha.  I'm always, and I mean ALWAYS, having ideas run through my mind, never a moment of heavy writers block.  Plots, characters, settings, anything and everything runs through my mind at any given moment.  So much so that I often find it hard to stay on my idea longer than a few pages, I always end up throwing previous writings away, but I intend to end that by just throwing it into my scraps.  Who knows, maybe ill revisit it someday. 

Now for something that isn't about writing.  I'm a guy, I'm African American (and proud of it) A human rights activists, an animals rights activist, I love meeting new and interesting people that see race as a history and culture, not a stereotype.  speaking of stereotypes, I despise them, their useless, yes they provide a basis for human interaction but when they interfere with regular day by day interaction, it gets kind of annoying.  But enough ranting.  In summery, I hope to find new friends that I can share ideas with and improve my writing!  thanks so much for making it this far!  See you soon!  And no, Dakota is not my real name.
