With this being my first article, please alert any inconveniences for edit. Constructive criticism for improvement is always welcome.

Here, in part 1, we will have a brief exploration of New Orleans' voodoo, developed historically from African diaspora in the greater Mississippi Valley, (rooting from Dahomeyan Vodun.)

We will delve briefly into origins, introducing characters, practices and beliefs, leaders and events, as well as the media.
