-For the lilac walls that have witnessed the emotional death of a teenage girl.

A USMC flag,

A picture of my beloved grandfather,

A picture of Jesus and his sacred heart,

A window covered by blue Disney curtains,

A watercolor painting,

A 1D poster,

A religious calendar set for February,

The initials GCRN.

All of said objects laying on faint lilac walls.

As she wilts,

So does their color.

When she first got here,

They were white.

She was unamused and turned them a beautiful

LILAC

Color.

They were a beautiful sight.

But as she grew sadder,

Their color did too.

Now, both look

Dull

And

Sad
