Karen Westcott is a thirteen year old girl who arrives at The Hershey Academy for Girls, a boarding school that is as mysterious for its long history of deaths over the last fifty years. When Karen arrives there, she attempts to deal with the idea that she is an outsider, while she attends a school that doesn't want her to interfere in business that doesn't concern her.
