Failing

Aiming for the moon,

Falling down to the Earth,

It hurts much,

But what can you do?

Remembering that time you made it there,

And just wondering if all your success was a fluke?

It looks so small, from so down below,

And everyone thinks that you'll never make it back down anymore.

Down this endless abyss,

You keep sliding ,

What once was within your reach,

Keeps leaving,

And you fall down this abyss,

Not because you can't reach back up,

But because you won't.
