Hello all of those that somehow stumble upon this profile. I am an author.
I really don't have much to say on these intros. Kind of like my story writing to do the talking. (I'm a huge fan of the Stormlight Archives, Demon Accord Series, and Mistborn Trilogy)
I write humor, fantasy, suspense, thriller and combine those with other genres creating hybrids such as fantasy romance, etc.

    And I'm on facebook: https://www.facebook.com/syr456/

Urban Fantasy or Urban Fantasy Elements

It's simple. Write an Urban-Fantasy story (no more than 3500 words). No vampires or werewolves please, unless they're enemies. (Really dislike Twilight.)

Humor is appreciated but is usually common in first person POV anyway.

If you read urban or contemporary fantasy (elements too) such as Mind Control, Iron Druid Chronicles, or Dresden then you know how the awesome stories are set in cities. Supernatural/paranormal or fantasy events occur, the main character solves the problem (whether he has abilities or not).

Must be written in first person. It's common in urban fantasies but mandatory in this contest.

Bad-ass characters are appreciated but please don't make them OP. I mean, you can if you want, I did enjoy Chris and Tanya from the Demon Accord Series but there needs to be limitations.

I will do my best to provide Feedback to each short story I read. (I'd love to be checked out in return but it's not a requirement.)

Lastly, have fun. URBAN FANTASY IS MY DIE-HARD FAVORITE GENRE EVER.
