Streets after midnight often gave an unsettling ambience.
Amber street lights glimmered on the roads, where a few flickered on the edge of diminishing. Except for some litter being dragged around by the wind, the roads were empty as a ghost town, plus this chill in the air - it was almost like a setup for something sinister to take place.
Seemingly awaiting something, on one side of the street stood a blonde lady in white. Under a silver white cape lined in gold, she grasped a rod of the same tone in her palm, contrasting starkly against the dark night sky.
Moments later, a figure made its appearance on the other end. Treading like a beast, the uncanny’s eyes were brimmed in carmine - unequivocally a monster, there was nothing human about it.
A cold petrifying light radiated from the sharp white fangs as its ferocious jaws widened. The blonde lady, however, had yet to make a flinching move. She raised the sceptre covered in white silk and pointed at the approaching opponent. Her blonde long hair waved with the cape as the breezes blew, as if it was a shimmering ray of starlight in the night - a sight to behold.
