Night One

Barney Klaine stood near Ambrose Heights House.

When he grabbed the keys, he went inside.

Night One-Evening

Barney flicked on the lights.

He walked towards the hallway.

It was brightly lit.

The weather was freezing.

He saw a cheap chair in the hallway.

He sat down.

As it rocked, he fell downward.

'Shit!', he said.

He looked around.

The door to the room at the far end of the hallway opened, and he screamed as a ghostly girl appeared.

Night Two

Evening

Barney attempted to sleep.

He was nervous.

He opened his eyes.

The day was long.

For some reason, he checked the Internet feed on his high-definition computer. All he saw was shadows.

Then he heard the ghosts banging the walls.

'Stop it!'.

They did as he commanded.

Morning

Barney grabbed the keys.

He opened the front door.

The house was haunted.

He called Mrs. Hall, the middle-aged Real Estate Agent.

'The house is full of ghosts. Give me $100 for the week. And I will never say a word'. It was the last thing he said, while he drove away in his 2019 blue Ford, back to Chicago.
