Have any of you heard of Charles Lindbergh? The first person to fly nonstop from New York City to Paris? Yeah, I thought I knew everything you could know about him (American history and what not), but apparently his twenty-month-old baby, Charles Augustus Lindbergh Jr., was kidnapped on March 1st, in 1932. Mhm. And I had absolutely no idea about this case until a couple of days ago.482Please respect copyright.PENANAFMb04EPnso
Baby Charlie was kidnapped from his second-story room using a homemade ladder. Several ransom notes were sent to the Lindberghs, but even though they paid the ransom money, Baby Charlie wasn't returned.482Please respect copyright.PENANAoSk1b4nIdC
Later, Baby Charlie's corpse was discovered by a truck driver on May 12th. His body was partially buried and decomposed, with a crushed skull. It was later determined that Charles Jr. died because of a blow to the head. After autopsy results came back, scientists learned that Baby Charlie was killed a few days after he was kidnapped.
I'm pretty sure his killer was found and put to death, but I'm not sure.
So yeah! That's the story of Baby Charlie's kidnapping and murder in a nutshell!482Please respect copyright.PENANARlu7aAMAcH
