Future Model United Nations run by the Department of Professional Studies, Christ University announced the fifth edition of Future Model United Nations. It is a flagship event of the Department of Professional Studies. It is a three day event from 21st November to 23rd November that will be conducted in the main campus of Christ University. Model United Nations is an educational simulation in which students can learn about diplomacy, international relations, and the United Nations. MUNs involves and teaches participants speaking, debating and writing skills. Participants in Model United Nations conferences known as delegates are placed in committees and assigned with countries to represent, sometimes with political figures or organizations. The delegates research before the conferences, and come up with policies or solutions that they discuss and debate with their fellow delegates during the conference staying true to the body they are representing. Future MUN is a platform where students from across the nation and the world can hone and test their skills of diplomacy, problem-solving, debating, researching, public speaking, writing and team-building.
