I almost jumped out of my skin when he placed a hand on my neck, shivers ran across my skin as he slowly brushed back the hair from my neck.
It seems to last a lifetime, my body craved his thumb grazing along the skin of my neck. I snap out of it when he mumbles quietly, close to my ear so his breath trickles subtly over my neck.
"You should probably ice that."
My eyes catch his for a second, a whirl of emotions in them that I don't know how to decipher. 
So I whisper quietly back, afraid if I spoke too loud, it might disrupt this look he was giving me.
"It's not that bad."
I grabbed his hand, pulling it away from my neck.
"There's fucking bite marks Ella."

Orphaned 17-year old Elbina's new life is simple, or at least it was supposed to be.
