In a city shatteringly altered by a madman's home-made nuclear bomb, Richard Billie finds himself in the unlikely role of leader for his family. His father, away from home during the blast, might be dead. Richard's mother, usually competent and crisp, is desperately injured and needs immediate medical help. His brother Washington, whose charm and intelligence have always overshadowed Richard's own awkwardness, is sick and weak. And Richard's girl friend Stacey, whom Richard secretly adores, is terrified. If any of them are to live through the next few hours, Richard has to take charge.
Who built the bomb? How did he build it? And Why? Can Richard find them food, water, and first aid in a contaminated, burning city?
There is nothing more annoying than a lie that doesn't come true.
Claire and her crew of five spend most of their school days doing what other high school students do - make stuff up. But when Claire gets a revolutionary and dangerous idea, the six friends are thrown into an adventure where literally anything can happen - because they gain the power to modify the laws of physics.

What if Africa, impoverished and starving, reneged on its massive debts to the developed countries of Europe and the U.S.A, and rose in violent rebellion against its creditors and former masters? Around this alternate reality I chart the disintegration of Western civilization into a world of chaos and crisis, where rampant terrorism and computerized mayhem threaten to bring the world to its knees....
Maids, servants, kings, princes, silk production non existent along with coffee. Where is Amanda? The 1400s? Close. Europe early 14th century, the 1300s.
A Greek-Turkish war over the Aegean Sea in 1982. This is an alternate timeline. We assume that the Falklands War of 1982 did not happen, but instead a Mediterranean War took place instead.

Basic Premise:Claire wakes in a white room that's a perfect cube. Completely confused, she searches the jumbled mess of rooms and finds... what no one can explain.
Inspiration:So, my friends and I were talking, and one of them started us on an interactive sci-fi suspense of his own creation. As we shifted through the story, I got an amazing idea - why not change it into my own story! Already a regular writer, I spent a week copying down what we did that day, and voila! Enjoy.
When a mysterious force calls Glenda Adams Soliel back to Ebott, she leads an expedition into the Underground to rescue one who was left behind. Unfortunately, shifting realities soon separate her from her friends, leaving her wandering through alternate versions of the Underground with a robot dog and a very different version of her oldest friend.
Meanwhile, Asriel Dremurr finds himself restored by a fragment of the Everstar. Unable to leave the Underground until he finds the other six pieces, he sets out into the Deep to save his soul.
Book III of the Otherwhere Legacy. AU EverDeep/J-27
Luna is an assassin for hire. She loves the thrill of the chase, the victory of a fresh kill.
One issue: She doesn't have her licence to kill yet. She has her permit, but that comes with issues. No killing at night, keeping a log of her murders, and someone has to chaperon her, and no one is available except her mom. And while her brownies are excellent, it sort of kills the mood.
