This is the book club. This is where writers can join in and give feedback to other writers or receive it. My team and I will publish issues about some of our stories, our advice on how to write in certain ways, and updates on projects that we are starting or updating. If you think you have a lot of advice on writing to give, feel free to join. You can also totally join in if you like reviewing people's work and offering criticism or receiving it. To join you can send me a request to be an idea contributor or just message me telling me you'd like to join. I have space for one more member at the moment so if you're interested please let me know! Anyone can also feel free to comment on story ideas or give feedback in the comments.
Each chapter/issue will have either some advice from one of our members or a summary of a story that one of our members is working on or has already published.
***Copyright: Please be respectful of the story ideas shared in this book by not replicating the text you read or using the full, unchanged ideas as your own. If anyone does steal an idea or replicate the text in this book, their name will be put at the end of each chapter/issue with a warning to other users not to interact with the user because of their behaviour.***
At summer camp, you and your friend Jay are planning to play a prank on a group of girls. However, a simple 5 minute prank seems to have turned into a life or death situation, as you and Jay try to figure out how in the world you are going to get out of the woods alive and in one piece.:(If you would like to collaborate on this story let me know.) Rules:Continue the story where the last writer left off! Note to writers: At the END of the chapter please create TWO choices. The next writer must choose to write about ONE of the TWO.
This book will be a collection of stories scenes either from my dream (day dream or nightmares) and life experience, which I hope can be adapted to short films in the future :)
Dreams are usually fragmented and have hidden meanings.
If you are interested in contributing yours or polish my scenes, just send me a join request!
P.S. Write down your dream and random thoughts...They can be quite powerful :)
Beginnings are important. Beginnings of stories should be fun, epic, and exciting. But what happens when a story's beginning is so amazingly epic that the thought of continuing the story is daunting and hard? No problem. Publish just the beginning.
A collection of beginnings by Shadow that may or may not become more.
A poem a character? Why not? Grief, triumph, loss, and victory are all fair play. Now who's ready for some inner-character poetry?
All collaborators will be added as idea-contributors, but will be promoted to co-writers once trust is established.
In the mood for some rude humor? Then this is the book for you.
Jokes are from the authors' imaginations and the people Shadow interviews, so if you want your joke to show up here, join as an co-writer, or drop Shadow a line here and leave your name (so Shadow knows who to attribute the joke to). Also includes many jokes from You're Funny, a contest Shadow created to hunt the internet for good jokes.
Hopefully, the jokes won't be too cruel, but you'll be the judge of that. Have fun, and get ready to laugh!
