Drabble. A story that is exactly 100 words. I'll be doing one every single day of this year (2021). A Drabble a Day. A new scene, a new story, a new character, a new musing, a new thought, every single day - until this hits 36,500 words and holds 365 unique stories.
By the end of this year, this will house a collection of 100 word stories, ready for the world to enjoy in bite-sized pieces, or to be binged in one go.
Are you ready? Will you take the jump to new worlds, seeking new adventures?
Then let's begin
After discovering that she and all the rich have been poisoned, Athena Wright must embark on a trip to a safe haven with her worst enemies.
The Novak family is in big trouble. Hazmat demons are burning down houses of the infected. Holed up in a room that was supposed to be a swimming pool, the Novaks know they need to escape the COVID nightmare by crossing over to another reality. This is their only chance to survive. Join the Novak family as they escape the hazmat demons by opening up a shimmering portal to the parallel reality. Join them on a wild ride across infinity, as they escape the pandemic to start their life on another Earth. The Novaks visit absurd worlds which are sometimes funny (for example where a wicked witch turns an entire German nation into Girl Scouts with tiaras shoved on their heads) and sometimes scary. Anything goes in infinity and the Novaks need to think fast if they want to stay alive.
Hello! I got the idea for this story from a dream that I had. Me and Jay are very excited to share our creation with you, and we hope you like it!
Imagine a world that's layered like a wedding cake.
Buying land and starting a homestead sounded like a wonderful way to escape the city life that plagues so many, but when tragedy strikes, times get tough, and morals slowly erode. What is that one thing you will be willing to do to survive? What about the one thing you are sworn against? That line in the sand will be crossed, the threshold breached, and the other side of the door explored, that dark place that is the feral human instinct of survival will be laid bare.

In the past the island country of Rhivera was plagued by famine. The government formed the Population Control Council to keep such a catastrophe from repeating itself. Those deemed weakest by Population Control are eliminated to keep the population at their desired level.

The human race was unacquainted with the creatures of myths and fairy tales. The Lost War changed all of that. When everyday life was bombarded by strange magic and mysterious races, the world soon knew that they had always lurked in the shadows. Elves blasted away city blocks and centaurs toppled over citizens. No one knew why these creatures decided to launch an global ambush, but the attack led to the destruction of the modern world. Some cities were rebuilt, some erased from history, and a few somewhere in between. Greymont became a beacon of peace, becoming the first city to have "unnaturals" and humans live and coexist. There was only one problem, Greymont had established a barrier between the outside world and the city. No one could see that the "Unnaturals" were actually separated from the humans under the jurisdiction of the Committee of Domestic Affairs (CODA), an organization tasked with running Greymont. As tensions rise in the city, every citizen feels the pressure. Join Valerie and Max: two black market salesmen tasked with illegal stealing magical items for humans as they are whisked into the middle of the conflict. Indecision, Morality, and the new and unknown world they find themselves in are only a few challenges that face them ahead.

Year 2420.....40 years have passed since the end of World War 3. The world is now nowhere near to what it used to be. Fourteen safe zones were established all around the world, humanity's last refuge. The rest of the world has fallen to something worse than nuclear radiation and its fallout. The safe zones were divided and ruled over by 7 groups, the so-called 'The Watchers of God', answerable only to the frantic dictator cult 'Gods Mercy'. Midst this chaos, a mysterious man ascended from the depth of darkness, to be the Divine.
What do you think of when you hear the word "secret"? Maybe in kindergarten, your best friend skipped up to you, saying "I've got a secret!" in a singsong voice. That friend would theatrically whisper in your ear. The secret would be, "I stayed up an hour later than my bedtime last night!" Maybe when the two of you got older, it would change to the two of you discussing who liked who, and they said. Well, here's my secret. What is it, you ask? Well if I told you, it wouldn't be a secret...
