When all else fails, words find a way. (An anthology of drabbles centered around relating relationships to the English language.)

Our Grammatical Error: We started in the middle of the page in my book; how did we end in yours?

The Patterns in Our Pitfalls: I will always remember this about us.

Define "Future": It is something I long to have with you.

Poetry, eh? To most people, poetry isn't so interesting, but to those special of us, we know the truth. Poetry can be amazing and vibrant as long as you are reading the right kind of poetry.

But how about explaining poetry? Now that's a different art.

Below, I have supplied the beautiful, the famous, the touching poem "Harlem" by Langston Hughes. In as many or as few words as you need, write a prose about this poem.  It can retell it, explain it, or be a narrative based off it. Anything, as long as it is in a paragraph form (that's what proseis).

So, you think you're up to the challenge? Give it a go!

Harlemby Langston Hughes

What happens to a dream deferred?

Does it dry up      like a raisin in the sun?      Or fester like a sore—      And then run?      Does it stink like rotten meat?      Or crust and sugar over—      like a syrupy sweet?

Maybe it just sags      like a heavy load.

Or does it explode?

Well, I got a LOT of requests (well, four, but I've only been on here a couple days) for either language exchanges or flat out teaching someone Japanese... so here I am! I will try to do a lesson every day, although I can't guarantee (I am both married AND pregnant (and yes I got married first hahaha)), I will try my hardest. If you want to do one-on-one teaching (through private message), I am already doing it with someone, and another person requested it.

Without further ado, welcome to Learning Japanese with Stormie! Feel free to ask questions and request lessons as you read. I love teaching, and answering your questions is so fun for me!

However, things take a turn for the worst when teens start getting picked off one by one by a maniac named Blackfist and the killer may be lurking closer than anyone realizes. (Rated PG-13 possibly for emotional thematic elements including threatening behavior, some language, intense sequences of menacing horror violence and terror, crude humor and partying - all involving teens.)
