Bella Cooper’s impromptu quest with the half-bloods to battle the Titan Perseus (who happens to be her great grandfather) tore a hole in the world she thought she understood. Four years later, and Greek gods, monsters, and superhuman abilities are all pretty normal for her. But when Bella has to start yet anothernew school, shit hits the fan pretty quickly:

Homicidal precalculus teachers, rampaging giants, and constant nightmares that prophesy nothing but bad news destroy any hope she had of staying out of trouble in her new school, and it’s all because she met a sweet girl named Acacia in her homeroom.

When Acacia goes missing, Bella is forced to team up again with half-bloods Nico, Annabeth, and Percy to find and save her from the dark depths of the underworld. To make matters worse, her empousa powers are beginning to spiral out of control, and her Greek ancestry isn’t what she thought it was. Now, Bella only has a mere few days to save Acacia, discover the truth about her mother, and prevent (or further) the fall of the underworld.

*** You are more than welcome to read this story without reading the first one (the only other work on my page lol), but you may be missing a few pieces of the puzzle. Nothing super major, you can still enjoy the story without it!

This fic doesn't contain any lore from Trails of Apollo or Heroes of Olympus, just the original Percy Jackson and the Olympians series. I don't think the original fic is that good, because I wrote is ages ago lol, but apparently I was pretty wrong because 3.4k of you read it! wow!!! I just wanted to take the time to say thank you so much! It was really cool to see when I logged in for the first time in years lol. can you dedicate fanfics to people?? if you can, then this fanfiction is dedicated to @Mae writer here on penana, who's comments sent an email to me and inspired me to do this whole thing lol. my writing style has changed quite a bit (hopefully for the better), but I've put a lot of time and love into this thing, so I hope you like it! <3

However, dealing with prissy rich girls and 'feminine manners' are the least of her worries.  Recently, she's come face to face with crazy weird monsters and learned about some new Greek family that has some on-going drama which, unfortunately, she is now part of. Luckily, Camp Half-Blood is a place where kids can learn about their new powers and abilities, and explore their history safely. Sounds perfect, and the only thing Bella needs is to be a demi-god!

Well, she doesn't meet that criterion either.  Now she's only got three days to fix her broken family, learn how to have normal teenage relationships, and tell the truth about her Greek Underworld parent.

Let's hope that's enough time.

In light of recent news about Percy Jackson adapted into a series on Disney+, I want to tell how a book becomes an important part of my life and how it shape me into who I am today.

Dear Reader,

Say you're walking in Central Park; it's dark, storming, but that's not realistic. What normal person walks in Central Park at night, it's dangerous and what cheap person walks in a storm. I mean, really? Shell out the extra fifteen, maybe twenty, dollars for a cab. Now enter Sally Jackson pulling little four-year-old Percy behind her, every so often checking over her shoulder. She was rushing to get back to their apartment before the storm got even worse.

Now that I have set the scene for this story and captured your attention. I will tell you of how Clio Jackson came to be, in a limited style. Because her past is so mysterious that even I remain in the dark.

With it established that Sally Jackson is no normal person, let me give you another scenario. A little blonde girl, barely two years old, huddled under a park bench soaked to the bone and quaking in fear. What would you do? Run far away because little children alone are understandably creepy; I mean we all saw The Shining,with the two blonde twins. Or maybe you'd call the police, but you never approach the girl.

Sally Jackson did just that and took the little girl in her arms. Only noticing the large cut on her leg, which had been why she'd been clutching at it. Being a woman used to the world of Greek "mythology" she took a small canteen, pouring just enough ambrosia to spread over her cut. A precaution in case the child had been mundanely human. Watching it heal the girl quit crying, and then and there Sally Jackson decided that she would come with them. Because why not add another demi-god to the family?

Twelve years later is when the fun begins.
