But when he gets caught embezzling money, Margaret's world comes crashing down. Forced to leave her old life behind, she moves to Michigan and starts over from scratch.
Despite the difficulties, Margaret finds herself falling for Samson, a charming country boy with a passion for caring about animals and art. As they work together on a project, their relationship blossoms and Margaret starts to feel like she's found a place where she truly belongs.
But will Margaret's past come back to haunt her? And can she learn to navigate her new life without relying on her father's money? "Daddy's Money" is a delightful story about finding love and finding yourself.

NOW THAT YOU’RE HERE,
YOU’RE NOT ALLOWED TO LEAVE
“Everywhere you go, I’ll be there. Every place when you think you’re alone, I’ll be in the shadows...
Because the moment you saw me, I noticed the look in your eyes...
The spark that no one else had ever seen.
I know you, Winter Evans, and I don’t intend to let you go.
Don’t be afraid, Snowflake,
Because you’re mine now.
And there’s nothing you can do about it.”
A heart of ice and a desire for blood... A city of frost and an ocean of red...
What would happen if a vampire and a snow angel clashed together? A boy who fed off her kind... and a girl who was the most powerful being in existence?
What if your dreams came to life... and you were left with nothing except for him?
Stained lips on her frosty skin...
Winter Evans fell in love with a vampire, and now he wouldn’t let her go.

The Town was a good Town. The Townspeople were kind to each other. Everything was beautiful. Everything was clean. The women wore pretty cotton dresses. The men wore handsome button-up shirts. Parents adored and doted on their children.
They lived in accordance to the prophecies passed down to them by the Giver, the great being who had created all of this. The final prophecy decreed the coming of the Taker, who would take it all alway.
The Taker was meant to end the world. But the Taker would have to first be raised within the Town.
---The main character uses they/them pronouns. The main character likes using they/them pronouns. The main character is genuinely genderqueer and it's fine. They use they/them pronouns because they like it. Not because of all the cult stuff that happens. The cult stuff is separate from the genderqueer stuff.

Marissa Summer Webb came from a grim town, Eastwood, fleeing into a nearby town. All was grand until she got the will from her late grandfather, leaving everything in her name. She must return to make it ready for buyers, whilst facing her buried feelings about this town. A town that makes her dark side come out.
My name's Bugsy and I live in a small town called Slaborough. On the outside, Slaborough looks completely normal where everybody knows each other but as you stay longer, that's where it gets mysterious.
But no worries, I'm sure you'll do fine here, well, if you're lucky. Enjoy your stay, folks.
Anne, better known as Annie, has spent her whole life as the bad influence of St. Liapa. Parents had cautioned their kids away from her and she didn’t spend much time fighting it. Things were pretty much normal until her sixteenth birthday. Her mother was acting weird about a party, the locals were actually being kind, her mortal-enemy kept sniffing the air as she walked past and the full-moon was looking more hypnotizing than ever.
Everyone keeps saying how big a mile-stone her sixteenth birthday is going to be, Annie might be beginning to understand why. It’s definitely going to be more hair-raising than any birthday past.
A short story I wrote a while back, I was deeply inspired by Ray Bradbury for this one. Some people found it difficult to understand, but I hope you enjoy it!(Side Note:) This short story actually got and honorable mention at the Cox and Palmer PEI Writer’s Guild literary contest of 2016.
