For a person with horrible cliche imagination, my dreams are oddly specific and unsettlingly unique and detailed so I decided to write them down. So far, I have dreamt of running from murderers, attending a wake, a pregnant lady, and a talking dog. I may not be the best at telling 1st person POV stories but I'll give it a shot. I will try to make it as detailed and horrifying and weird as my brain did to me.
There was an uncle who we would visit that lived in a place that felt very different, caught in an older age. When we went there, we would come by older buildings, abandoned industry, something about it keeps coming back to my dreams. This one too.
I was stuck in a recurring dream recently where I was on a bicycle roundabout and I couldn't go anywhere. My solution was to write myself out of it in this story.
Years ago I had a reoccurring nightmare, this is a glimpse into that nightmare.
Has someone ever told you that your dreams are nonsense, and you should not waste your time on them? Has someone ever tried to ruin them at the root and decide how you should live, saying they know it much better? That’s what my mother is doing. She believes my wish of becoming a writer is a stupid thing. But I am not going to give up so easily and will do my best to reach for my dream and prove to her that my hobby is not a waste of time, as she wants to think.
Everybody wants to be a billionaire. But not much like Elodi Coldwood, the only African-American in a small town in Kansas. He dreams big—bigger than anybody else. His experiences as the lone target for racism only fueled his excitement to live his not so distant dream. After a personal conversation with an old man, he was given the opportunity to become one of the richest man alive. But it’s an unlikely road that only a few have taken. And he would bet his life on a roll of a dice; a risk that he was willing to take. Well, who wouldn’t? Everybody wants to be a billionaire.
Don't cry over spill milk something you wouldn't think would have any meaning to it.. read and find out what I mean.. if you want ofc :)

All I know is toil and work and rice and beans and saying goodbye to loved ones too early. All I have is a family made up of broken people and a community paved with broken streets. All we have is stories and hope and the Lifemaker and each other. All they want from us is the sweat off our backs.
But on one night I have a dream. On one afternoon a child commits a crime. On one dawn the world starts turning towards a new day and the gods are closer than we ever knew them to be.
Malina-Deprassi was a world of extremes. The Big People had more than they ever could need. The Small People struggled to get by. Events occur which cannot be explained. Prophecies are told which gain widespread attention. Children are born into the world.———
