You can run,
You can kick,
You can scream,
But I know you want this.
I’ve watched you when you’re alone. I know you are what you claim you’re not.
I know you want this, Ella.
I see the sparkle in your eyes when you look at me, I see your cheeks glow whenever I look at you.
You tell me that you want to go home, that I'm holding you hostage and you have a family.
But you should know, Isabella, now that when things become mine, I don’t easily give them up.
Especially when you’re clearly enjoying yourself.
I know you, Ella. And now that you’re mine:
I’LL NEVER LET YOU GO.
What happens in Vegas, stays in Vegas… right? Sophomore workaholic Lexie Prescott's life is usually pretty uncomplicated, but after a series of failed dates, during summer break she finds herself being packed off by her best friends for some well-deserved vacation time in Vegas. She plans to soak up the sun, go clubbing, and enjoy being free and single, but only Lexie could end up married to a stranger! Prince Adrian Ambrose has a life plan all set out, which doesn't include meeting Lexie. He goes to Vegas for a trip to meet his betrothed and meets Lexie sitting in a corner of a club. This is a marriage of inconvenience for both of them, but getting divorced isn't quite as simple as Adrian thinks. They both return to Adrian’s kingdom, where his parents are less than thrilled. They’ll have to redo their wedding and come up with a great cover story to convince everyone. Can two people fall in love when they're already married, or will it just be something that happened in Vegas?

since: 2018 - ongoing
I started this story way back in 2018 and first published in watty. But I had a busy life so I ended up abandoning it there and unpublished eventually. I feel bad since some say it has potential so, I will post it here for archive purposes and try to complete it.
