My eyebrows raised slightly hearing Kyra call it a date. Not that Kyra was wrong, but I didn't expect her to call it a date almost instantly. "Yeah," I said, nodding my head subtly while internally feeling like an idiot for acting so foolish in front of her.
"Here, I'll give you my number so I can text you the place." I put my hand out, waiting for Kyra's phone to be placed in my hand. Feeling the cool plastic case of her phone against my hand I put in my contact information and gave her back her phone.
"See you later then. I'll text you the place."
"Kay, it better be good." Kyra said teasingly. She put her phone back in her pocket and waved at me with a smile on her face, her bag slung over her shoulder as she turned and left the classroom.
She takes my breath away in the most simple ways. But I don't mind. I shook my head out of cloud 9 and walked out of the classroom as well, walking down the stairs of the school building and heading to my car.
Thoughts flooded my mind about what I should do for the date. What I should wear, whether I should wear perfume or cologne, where we should actually go for the date, whether I should give her something at the start of the date. Maybe a necklace? Flowers?
I sighed, pushing away the thoughts and just started step by step. First step, get to my car and go home.
Leaving the school I breathed in the fresh air and soaked in the sun as I headed towards my black Volkswagen Jetta. I took my keys out of my pocket and unlocked my car, opening the door and getting inside. I sat there for a quick second, reminiscing in the peace before turning on my car and pulling out of the parking lot, heading home so I could dress in something nicer.
Leaning against a brick wall my fingers tap nervously against the plastic wrap of the fresh bouquet filled with a mixture of pink lilies and baby's breath scattered around it. When I was walking to the arcade that was in the city mall I had walked past a flower boutique and initially I didn't want to be late for my date but the thought of getting flowers for her and seeing her expression tugged harder than attending at a specific time so I had bought Kyra the bouquet of flowers and I'm still on time.
I looked around the mall, wondering if Kyra's here yet or if anything came up. But as my hand reaches around to grab my phone that rested in my pocket, wanting to text her where she is I then hear that silky smooth voice call out my name.
"Irina! Hey!"
I looked up, my eyes meeting her dark ones which were softly squinted by the smile that might as well be the replacement for the sun, her voice calling out my name, a call I could never turn my back to.
Kyra's smile was wide and genuine, making my lips automatically turned up into a smile seeing her. Kyra's hand was raised in the air, waving back and forth in excitement.9Please respect copyright.PENANAygoxwWXZLB
I raised my hand to my head, waving as well as our eyes met, my heart fluttering and doing spins.
Kyra approached and stood in front of me, her bright eyes landing onto the bouquet of pink lilies and she looked back up at me with a look that seemed happier than before if possible.9Please respect copyright.PENANAbVwPRm2SAc

"Are these for me?" She questioned, looking back down at the lilies.
"Yeah. I mean they aren't for anyone else really," I muttered, handing the bouquet to her as I watched as her eyes lit up further as she put the bouquet up to her nose and smelled the flowers.
"These are so pretty! Thank you, Irina," Kyra held the bouquet of flowers and glanced up at me.
"So are we gonna play some games or what?" She said, playfulness clear in her voice
"Yeah. Lets go." I said, letting Kyra lead the way inside the bright arcade.
