Miss Bustier's Classroom
"Lily is running for the class representative position and Chloé and Sabrina will be her deputies." Miss Bustier announced to the class, Chloé, Sabrina and Lily by her side.
Some of the students smile that their kind designer friend was campaigning for class president while others were surprised that Chloé was settling for a deputy position.
Just then Marinette hurriedly entered the classroom. "Hi! I'm sorry! I-uh, I-uh, the bus," She starts fake coughing. "Dry throat!" She sits down next to Alya.
Chloé, Sabrina and Lily both rolled their eyes and sat in their seats.
"Lily is running for class rep and Chloé's settling to be her mere deputy along with Sabrina. That's so weird of Chloé." Alya told Marinette quietly.
"Really? I would've thought the spoiled brat would run for class representative like she always does." Marinette replied.
Both girls giggled, and Miss Bustier notices this.
"Marinette, Alya, is something funny?" She asked.
They both froze at being caught, and Marinette smiles sheepishly.
"N-No, Miss Bustier." Marinette stuttered.
Chloé, Sabrina and Lily both glare at the blue-haired stalker.
"Alright, I'll give all of you till the end of lunch to decide if you'd like to be a candidate to run for class representative." Miss Bustier says.
School Courtyard
"So why didn't you become a candidate? Did Chloé and Lily threaten you?" Marinette asked Kim, accusing the girls.
"Don't be so judgmental, Marinette. I'm actually glad that Lily is running, she's helping Chloé change." Kim replied.
Marinette scoffed, "Chloé? Change? Yeah, right."
"Besides, I've got swimming classes and other things to do. I won't have time for being class rep." Kim then walks away.
After he does, Marinette approaches Rose.
"Hey, Rose, why didn't you run for class president?" She asked.
"Well, Lily seems like she'll have everything under control. Plus, I have my own thing, like the scrapbooking club! And you know how much I love all those stickers, colorful scraps of papers and gluing!" Rose beamed.
Marinette groans and approaches Alix, who is sitting at the stairs. "Alix, aren't you gonna be a candidate?" She asks.
"I couldn't care less about being a candidate. And what's your excuse?" The pink-haired girl asked Marinette.
"Well, uh, but, uh, well, I guess I could run if no one else did." Marinette said sheepishly.
Miss Bustier's Classroom
"So, are there any new candidates who would like to run against Lily, Sabrina and Chloé?" Miss Bustier asked.
Everyone stayed quiet, seeing no point in being a candidate as they had their own things to do.
"I'll run!" Marinette raised her hand, causing the students to gasp.
"Wonderful! You'll need to develop your campaign and have a speech ready by tomorrow. We'll have the vote then," Miss Bustier says.
Chloé glares at Marinette, but Lily puts a hand on her shoulder.
"It's okay, Chloé. I'll still try my best to win." Lily assured her.
School Courtyard
"So, Lily, what're you gonna do for your campaign? How are you gonna represent?" Sabrina questioned. She, Chloé, and Lily are sitting on a bench.
"Hm, I think I'm gonna find out from our friends what problems they're having in school." Lily decided.
"Hey, Lily!" Rose called out as she, Juleka, Ivan and Nino came over.
"Hey, Rose. Listen, guys, I'm gonna need your help with running for class representative. Are you all having any problems in school?" Lily asked.
"Oh, can we get more comfortable chairs? They're so hard, I can barely concentrate in class," Rose gasps in delight. "Maybe pink ones!"
"Well, I don't know if pink ones are possible, but I will speak to Miss Bustier to see if we can have cushions for our bottoms." Lily explained.
"Thanks." Rose smiled.
"And it'd be primo if we could listen to our beats while we study in the library." Nino crosses his arms.
"That's a good idea. I could talk to Principal Damocles and see if he can allow us to listen to music through headphones." Lily said.
"Awesome, dudette." Nino does the 'OK' sign.
"What about you, Juleka?" Lily asked.
"Uh, you know... um, I don't-, you know." Juleka murmured.
"I'll get back to you on that one, Jule." Lily smiled.
Sabrina sees Adrien coming down the stairs just then. "Hey, Adrien! Lily can count on your vote, right?"
"Sure. Depending on her speech," Adrien did a finger gun gesture.
"Thanks, Adrien. I'll make sure to win for you!" Lily called after him.
Adrien blushes and waves at her before leaving.
"Better get cracking on that campaign." Chloé smirks at Lily.
"I will, but I'm gonna need your help, Chlo." Lily smiled.
Meanwhile, Marinette and Alya were watching from afar.
"Did you hear that, Al? Adrien's gonna vote for Lily!" Marinette panics, chewing on her nails.
"Not if you come up with a campaign that'll blow hers out of the water," Alya smirks at her. "So you better start brainstorming."
Dupain-Cheng Residence. Marinette's Room
Marinette is sitting by her desk writing in her diary. "Let's see. I could, um..." She sighs. "What am I gonna do to show Lily up... Ooh, I could write a great election speech about how my friends can depend on me! I could write about my leadership and my strengths. That'll definitely get them on board." She smiles.
"I have to beat Lily. Maybe Adrien will finally notice me!" Marinette grins, closing her diary, locking it.
Just then she saw her phone lighting up on the desk. The caller was Alya, making the blue-haired hypocrite immediately answer.
"Marinette, battle's on." Alya frowned on-screen.
"Why? What's going on?" Marinette questioned.
"Chloé's invited the whole class to Lily's campaign launch party at City Hall," Alya flipped the camera to show everyone in a line waiting to get an autograph from Jagged Stone. "And she's got Jagged Stone as backup!"
"Seriously? Jagged Stone, my favorite star?! I love him!" Marinette grins, then frowns. "Oh, and so does everyone else."
"Precisely. Lily's trying to buy student votes with autographs!" Alya accused the Rossi girl.
"Not if I have anything to say about it. Meet you there!" Marinette hangs up before putting her diary in her lockbox and leaving her bedroom.
City Hall
Marinette has arrived.
"I'm pleased to welcome you all to the official launch of Lily's electoral campaign," André puts a hand on a beaming Lily's shoulder. Chloé and Sabrina stand beside her. "And a special thank-you to world-famous popstar Jagged Stone for endorsing her."
While the man says this, Lily goes over to Jagged holding her sketchbook.
"Mr. Jagged Stone, I'm such a big fan! Will you please sign my sketchbook?" She holds out her fashion book to him.
"Sure, little lady." Jagged smiles and signs the book cover of the light brunette's sketchpad.
Lily squeals while the rest teens are amazed.
"And, when you vote for Lily," Sabrina started.
"You'll get free tickets to Jagged's next concert." Chloé explained while Jagged delivers autographed CDS to the teens.
After getting an autographed CD, Alya stepped out of the line, she yelped when she saw Marinette standing in front of her with a frown.
"Huh, you got an autograph?" The blue-haired creep questioned, a little bitter.
"Uh... yeah. Got you one too," Alya said, handing an autographed CDs to Marinette.
Marinette was about to take the CD out of Alya's hands, but she stopped. "Nope! I'm not falling for it. But I'll consider forgiving you if you vote for me."
Alya chuckled and nodded.
While Jagged continues to give out autographs, Marinette decides to try to persuade her class to not vote for Lily.
"Do you realize that you're all being bribed? Concert tickets are awesome, but they aren't gonna solve classroom problems." She explained.
"So what's your campaign then, Marinette?" Nathaniel asked.
"Well, uh, I'm, uh, thinking..." Marinette stammered.
"Remarkable, you actually sound like a class rep," Chloé comments sarcastically as she came over with Lily. "Too bad you don't have a chance of winning."
"And for your information, I'm not bribing my friends." Lily spoke up.
"Yes, you are. You're manipulating them into voting for you!" Marinette glared at her.
The designer scoffs. "Do you hear yourself? It's their choice on taking autographed CDS and free tickets. Also, this election party is more of a bonus. Do you honestly think I'm just gonna host a big party and forget about school issues?"
"Well... that's what it looks like." Marinette retorted.
"Of course you'd think that, but in reality, I'm already coming up with plans to make things easier for my class as we speak." Lily retaliated.
"Oh yeah, how?" Marinette smirked.
Lily opened her mouth to explain, when trumpets from outside suddenly began to play.
"What the heck is that?" Chloé raised an eyebrow as the trumpets continued to play before they finally stopped.
André, Sabrina, Marinette, Lily, Chloé and Alya peeked outside to see what was going on, only to see a load of knights outside.
"O-ye, o-ye! Darkblade shalt speak now! Listen or be imprisoned!" A knight ordered as Darkblade stepped forward.
"What did he say?" André looked down at the teenagers.
"Basically, he wants to have a medieval duel with you. And since he's obviously been Akumatized, you're gonna get your butt kicked. No offense, Mr. Mayor." Sabrina briefly explained.
"Ehh... Ask my secretary for an appointment!" With that, the mayor slams the doors.
Darkblade laughs. "Bow down to Darkblade, or feel the wrath of mine sword!"
"Part le fer! Part le fer! Ahhh!" The knights charged forward.
Suddenly, Cat Noir's baton went hurling, knocking some of the knights off their feet before Cat Noir catches his baton.
"Take him!" Darkblade commanded.
The knights charged towards Cat Noir.
"Guys, do you only know heavy metal?" Cat Noir engages in battle with the knights.
Meanwhile, Lily watches him from the window. "Come on, Cat..."
Just then the black-clad hero got dogpiled.
"Ouch." Lily cringed.
Now that had to hurt.
However, Cat Noir easily breaks out from under the pile of knights with his staff. "That was a nice warm-up!"
"Part le fer!" Darkblade pointed his sword at Cat Noir.
"Uh oh!" The black cat exclaims in alert.
Darkblade jumps at him and attacks him with his blade, but he counters with his staff.
Back inside, Lily records the two dueling with a big grin on her face. "Go Cat Noir, go!"
Meanwhile, Jagged throws his pen behind him and hears noise outside. "Wait, do I hear the sounds of crazed fans? I can totally get them under control." He grabs his guitar before he got up and began walking towards the doors.
Sabrina spotted him and her eyes widened. "Hold on, Mr. Jagged, there's a fight going on outside. Where are you-?!" She was cut off when Jagged exited before she sighed.
"What the-?" Lily ended her recording, shocked as she saw Jagged outside with his guitar singing offkey. "Oh gosh, what's he doing?"
Jagged stopped playing and his eyes widened when he saw Darkblade and Cat Noir sword-fighting before Cat Noir ran away from the pursuing knights.
"Behold, a minstrel!" Darkblade sets down his sword.
"Guys, guys, I know you love me, but no reason to fight over it." Jagged said.
"Are you the usurper's champion?" Darkblade inquired.
"Say what?" Jagged was zapped by a read beam. He bowed to one knee, allowing Darkblade to put his sword on both his shoulders, transforming him into a knight.
Meanwhile, Chloé, Nino, Marinette, Ivan, Sabrina and Lily had witnessed this from the doors.
"Oh no!" Chloé cries.
"Why'd he even go out there?" Lily shakes her head.
"What are we gonna do?" Ivan probed.
"We have to shut the doors immediately." Lily decided.
"Kneel before thy flag of Darkblade!" Darkblade orders as he marched up to the doors. "Bow down before mine eyes!"
The group quickly slammed the doors before backing away.
Rose shrieks in fear and rushes over to Lily. "Lily, what should we do? What would a class rep do?!"
"AHHH!" The knights charged at the doors from outside trying to bust them open.
Lily looks around at her classmates' scared faces before taking a couple deep breathes. "Okay... Kim, Ivan, lock the doors. Rose, Juleka, make sure all the windows are closed too, hurry!"
Kim and Ivan hurried to lock the doors and are successful despite the knights trying to break it while Rose and Juleka have locked the windows.
"Okay, now that that's done, all of you come with me!" Lily instructed.
"Good job, Lily," Sabrina smiles, then looks at Marinette with a sneer. "At least YOU'RE being useful." She smirks before walking away.
Marinette growls like a dog, glaring after her.
Outside, the knights are still trying to open the doors.
"Charge!" Darkblade orders as the knights attempted to bust through.
On the inside, the teens are carrying items to barricade the doors.
"We have to make sure it's barricaded heavily." Lily says, carrying a Jagged poster with Chloé.
After they finished barricading, the teens backed away from the doors as the knights continued their attempt to bust in.
"I hope they haven't gone too medieval on Cat Noir!" Nino prayed.
"It's time for us to get outta here," Lily looked at the mayor. "Mr. Bourgeois, we need to leave."
André nods. "This way!" He leads everyone away upstairs.
"I'll catch up with you guys! I'll make sure all the windows are closed first!" Lily yelled after the group.
After they had left, Lily opened her purse and Tikki flew out. "Now that they're gone. Let's go help Cat Noir. Tikki, Spots On!"
"Back off, you tin cans!" Cat Noir demands as the knights close in on him.
"Cat Noir!" Lady Scarlet called from above as her yo-yo was thrown down to Cat Noir. "Up here!"
Cat Noir grabs on to the yo-yo and gives the knights a two-fingered salute before he was dragged up and thrown inside, causing him to roll and hit the wall landing upside down with his legs folded.
"Sorry, kitty. I was busy doing damage control inside." Lady Scarlet puts her hand on the back of her head. "Are you okay?"
"I was managing just fine by myself, you know. But it's always nice to see you." Cat Noir said.
"Come, formation!" Darkblade yelled.
The knights come into formation, using each other to build ladders.
Just then Lady Scarlet came swinging, sending the knights barreling over.
The knights went into formation again, but Cat Noir pushes them over with his staff, causing them to topple over.
"Strike!" Cat Noir helps Lady Scarlet back inside.
"Cursèd, colorful acrobats!" Darkblade then walks over to two cars before turning them into catapults.
"Huh?" Lady Scarlet raises an eyebrow in confusion as the knights set themselves into the catapults.
"Pull! " A female knight ordered.
The knights pull the catapult, launching the others towards the roof.
"Why are they going on the roof?" Cat Noir asked.
A knight ungracefully slams not-to-gently into the wall beside the window that Lady Scarlet and Cat Noir were looking out of.
"Well, at least some of them." Cat Noir commented.
"The flag!" Lady Scarlet pointed upwards.
"Tally ho!" Darkblade points his sword ahead. The knights launch him to the roof with a catapult. He laughs evilly as he lands on the roof next to the flag. "Once these stripes are supplanted by mine coat of arms," He slices the flag off with his blade. "I shalt reign supreme!"
Meanwhile, a knight was holding up Darkblade's flag.
"The Akuma's obviously in his sword!" Lady Scarlet remembered as she and her partner watched Darkblade from above.
"How are we gonna get a hold of it?" Cat Noir asked.
"It's not going to be easy, but we have to fight his army." Lady Scarlet decided.
"Then let's go!" Cat Noir agreed.
Cat Noir knocks down the human ladder of knights to stop the knight from delivering the banner to Darkblade, but the knights capture him. Lady Scarlet came over and used her yo-yo to knock the knights away, freeing Cat Noir.
"Villains! Thou impress me not." Darkblade took his flag from his knight. "By the blade of darkness, I hereby declare all peoples of this kingdom are henceforth mine!" He puts his flag into the roof.
A black beam shot up into the air and created a black void of energy over the entire city.
Lady Scarlet and Cat Noir gasped as they looked up at the pitch-black sky.
"Bow to King Darkblade!" Darkblade proclaimed.
Darkblade cackled.
"Yeah, laugh it up." Lady Scarlet glared at him.
"Soon thou shalt join my army, you venomous insect!" Darkblade pointed at the hero.
"Not so fast! En grade!" Cat Noir charged at Darkblade before he began sword-fighting with him.
Lady Scarlet looked around and got out her yo-yo as several knights surrounded her.
Hawk Moth's Lair
"It won't be long before Lady Scarlet and Cat Noir show up to meet their doom!" Hawk Moth cackles.
City Hall
Cat Noir is continuing to fight Darkblade as the villain's blade strains against his staff. The superhero glanced to his side and saw the void closing in on City Hall. "We're about to wind up as knights too!"
Meanwhile, the black energy had closed in on the teenagers, transforming them into knights.
"Lucky Charm!" Lady Scarlet receives a wind-up Ladybug toy. "Uh, okay..." Using her Lucky Vision, she spots part of the City Hall's roof, some edging, Darkblade's underarm, then the ladybug toy. "Good thing Darkblade's ticklish."
Meanwhile, Cat Noir is still battling Darkblade. He notices Darkblade pulling the same feint he did before when he was fencing him as Adrien. "Not this time." He charges at him and successfully avoids Darkblade's faint.
Meanwhile, Lady Scarlet winds up the toy ladybug before she jumps down onto the part of City Hall she had spotted with her Lucky Vision and makes her way onto the roof with her yo-yo before throwing the toy ladybug at Darkblade.
The object lands in the section of his underarm, tickling him, he began laughing, flailing his arms which causes him to unintentionally throw his sword away.
Cat Noir catches the sword and throws it to Lady Scarlet, who smashes it on the side of the roof, breaking it.
The Akuma flies out of the blade and began flying away.
"Oh no you don't you filthy Akuma!" Lady Scarlet catches the Akuma with her yo-yo. "Gotcha!" She releases the purified Akuma. "So long, butterfly. Miraculous Scarlet!" She throws the toy ladybug into the air.
The miracle ladybugs return everything back to normal, including the knights, and reverts Darkblade back into Armand D'Argencourt.
"Hmm? Huh?" The man was confused.
"Pound it!" The Miraculous duo fist-bumped.
Cat Noir looks at his ring and saw that we were about to transform back just then. "Uh, gotta take off, see ya!" He bid his partner later before running away and jumping off the roof.
"Later kitty!" Lady Scarlet called after him.
Hawk Moth's Lair
"Our duel is not over yet, my dear Lady Scarlet. At the end of our battle, I will rule!" Hawk Moth declared before his window closed.
City Hall
Lady Scarlet swings in through a window and lands on the ground before she turns back into Lily.
"Great job, Lily. You proved that you can be Lady Scarlet, a guardian and a student leader at the same time." Tikki praised.
"No doubt about it." Trixx added.
"Wasn't easy, but I'm glad I tried. Cause if I hadn't, I never would've known I could do it." Lily smiled.
Meanwhile, downstairs, the teens are removing the items from the doors they used to barricade them with. After they do, Nathaniel and Juleka open the doors.
"Lily! Where've you been?" Sabrina asks the Rossi girl as she approached.
"I think I may have gotten turned into a knight." Lily rubs the back of her neck.
"That's awful," Chloé frowns. She sees Marinette coming down the stairs just then. "So where were you? Safely hiding under a rock?" She sneers at the blue-haired stalker.
"Very funny, Chloé. I got... transformed into a knight." Marinette makes up a lie.
Just then Adrien came downstairs. "So did I! What a knight-mare!" He then ran off.
Lily shakes her head as she smiles with her hands on her hips. She knew that he was lying about becoming a knight. She had to admit that the pun was somewhat funny.
Marinette clears her throat just then. "Y'know, Lily, I still want you to answer my question."
"What question?" Lily raised an eyebrow.
"About how you're already coming up with plans to make things easier for our classmates. Don't pretend like you forgot!" Marinette shouts, approaching her, stopping just a few inches from her.
"Oh my god, Marinette," Lily rolls her eyes as everyone surrounds her and Marinette. "You're not gonna give up on this?"
"No, I'm not. And you know what? I'm gonna prove just how better I could be as class representative." Marinette smirks before turning to her classmates.
Chloé scoffs. "Here comes a lame speech from the lamest girl in class."
Marinette gives her a nasty gaze, then looks at her classmates again. "You all should vote for me as class rep, because unlike Lily, I don't throw parties with celebrities to bribe people,"
Lily shakes her head as the blue-haired klutz gave her a side-eye.
"I'm not gonna make promises that I can't keep, and I'm not gonna get you everything that you want, but I am resourceful, and I know how to prioritize. I'm a good listener as well as a good multi-tasker. Representing you all is something I truly believe in." She smiled as she walked. "And most importantly, I believe in myself. So... vote for me as class representative!"
...Silence. Not even a cough was heard.
Marinette was confused and embarrassed because no one had cheered for her or even clapped.
Only Alya was clapping, but she stopped short when no one else joined her.
Chloé's obnoxious but catching laugh cut through the silence. "Seriously, Dupain-Cheng? That's the best you got?!" She cackles along with Sabrina.
"I, uh, huh...?" Marinette looked at her classmates' faces as they avoid eye contact with her.
"I guess it's my turn to convince you all to vote for me." Lily spoke up.
The designer catches everyone's attention.
"If you forgot what I told you earlier Marinette, my campaign party with Jagged Stone was just an added bonus," Lily explains to Marinette. "Parties are what I will occasionally do as class rep with Chloé's help. If she wants to help."
"You know I will, Lily." Chloé flips her hair.
"You asked me how I'm coming up with plans to make things easier for our classmates." Lily says to Dupain-Cheng.
"Yes, I'd love for you to explain." Marinette smirked, crossing her arms.
"Well, not only will I make things easier for them, but it'll also benefit the rest of the school. Nathaniel told me the art supplies in the art room are getting old, so I'll be talking to Mr. Damocles, and if he agrees, he'll talk to the school board to get fresh supplies for everyone to safely use." Lily explained.
Nathaniel smiles.
"I'll also have to talk to the principal about hiring a self-defense teacher, because most Akumatizations happen in our school, and in case we get confronted, we can defend ourselves,"
Everyone nodded in agreement at Lily's words because she made a good point.
"A guidance counselor," Lily stated. "We need a professional for emotional support. Teen suicides happen because of depression, bullying, and a lot of teens have anxiety, anger issues, and hidden trauma,"
Everyone felt empathetic at her words and some nodded.
"Chloé's dad is the primary funder to Françoise Dupont, so the school should have no problem with finances." Lily smiles at Chloé who smiles back.
By this point, Marinette's smirk had faded, and it was replaced with a mortified expression as her arms fell to her sides.
"Being class representative doesn't mean you should look put for your class alone. It's about trying to benefit everyone else and helping them out if you're able too," Lily told Marinette. "The difference between you and I, Marinette, is that I'm not selfish. I'll give not only to my friends, but to all the other people around me,"
Marinette looked away, clenching her hands into fists.
"It's okay if you guys don't wanna vote for me, but just know, I'll still help you all out in any way I can!" Lily tells her classmates.
All of them started applauding and whistling for her for her great speech, causing her to smile brightly.
Marinette, knowing she had lost, stomped off like a spoiled child, and Alya followed her.
Chloé wrapped her arm around her childhood friend. "Look at you, Miss Politician. Sure you don't wanna be a diplomat?" She teasingly asks.
Lily simply laughed.
Miss Bustier's Classroom
The class, minus a salty Marinette and Alya, is applauding while Lily, Sabrina and Chloé are standing at the front with Miss Bustier.
"By majority vote, Lily is the new class representative, and Chloé and Sabrina will be her deputies." Miss Bustier announced.
"Oh please. I would've made a much better class rep than that brat." Marinette grumbles, rolling her eyes.
"I'm glad you're by my side partners." Lily wraps her arms Chloé and Sabrina.
"You know I always got your back, Lily." Chloé flips her ponytail.
Sabrina nodded, "Absolutely."
Lily giggles and looks at Adrien, who is applauding. The said boy winks at her.
She blushes and winks back.
