There is a moment, 971Please respect copyright.PENANACQaTIDjWSc
A split second, 971Please respect copyright.PENANA08dSFjzxiZ
Between birth, 971Please respect copyright.PENANAGCYAJgwBe9
And death, 971Please respect copyright.PENANAyL5NKiWCH5
That is called life.
Everything you have ever done, 971Please respect copyright.PENANABvue9mdfKe
Everyone you have ever loved, 971Please respect copyright.PENANAzyBC5fLiGq
Everything, 971Please respect copyright.PENANApwvngNq6Gf
Occurred in that moment.
Whether it be, 971Please respect copyright.PENANAyEUPvEShAd
One year, 971Please respect copyright.PENANAT0qSuoIsNJ
Ten years, 971Please respect copyright.PENANARSWLWmgTia
Fifty years, 971Please respect copyright.PENANACrZ0mezCHm
Or a hundred,
It was only a moment. 971Please respect copyright.PENANADKCa08XnFL
But though that may be, 971Please respect copyright.PENANAEFdSlySVyF
The nature of mortality, 971Please respect copyright.PENANASNArm3l43E
There is more to life, 971Please respect copyright.PENANA4knxngz8vV
Than death.
And though that might seem empty, 971Please respect copyright.PENANAmJmsG2h8Ck
Know that all life, 971Please respect copyright.PENANATGCThsr4vK
Exists the same, 971Please respect copyright.PENANApyYDmVJRfj
Ends the same.
So live your life, 971Please respect copyright.PENANARwH1hFd5M8
Because only you can live your moment.
The Nature of Mortality was inspired by that line in Interstellar (2014) where Matt Damon screams, "There is a moment-" and is imploded by incorrectly attaching an airlock. After all the jokes about the "genius astronaut who couldn't operate an airlock properly," I wrote the line on a piece of paper and stared at it for five minutes. And at the end of the five minutes, this happened. I hoped you liked it, despite the implications of it.
