I was fixing up drinks as always while the boss, Alex, was busy checking out Tulip our waitress. Then Jay our sassy bartender was busy checking out the guys, she was a bit crazy with it. Then we had Ky our other bartender fixing drinks too. He was a shadow. We were a bunch of crazies, but I wouldn't change a thing. This was my family in a way.
"Um... excuse me? I was wondering if Alex Steel is around here?" I looked up and saw a girl talking to Ky. He frown.
"Uh ya. Hey boss. There's someone who wants to talk with you." He shouted and Alex got out of his drooling state long enough to look over and see who he was talking about. She was pretty, I guess. She had long brown hair in a braid to the side and big brown eyes. She had on a red tank top and black leather pants with black leather boots and a leather jacket on. Alex was in a black dress shirt and dark jeans. He had a scruffy face and deep green eyes and slick brown hair. Ky had spiked up black hair and deep brown almost black eyes and dark skin. He was tall and thin and was in a black dress shirt like Alex's, but had the sleeves rolled up. He was in jeans and boots.
Tulip was in a black skirt and a white blouse and black boots. She had dark blue hair and purple eyes. She was... different looking, but hot. Then Jay was in a black mini jean skirt with a chain belt and a black tank top. She had black boots too. She had brown hair with blonde highlights and tips that look more creamy brown then blonde. I had on the same clothes as the guys, it was our work clothes. I had my black dress shirt on, but my sleeves rolled up. I had my shirt unbutton though, unlike the rest of the guys and I had a black muscle shirt under it, which is how I dress everyday for work. I had on black jeans and black boots. I had, had, spiked up blonde hair, but I'm growing it out so it was down to the end of my neck and covered almost my whole eyes, but I had it pushed back and on top of my head under my plain black baseball cap style hat on.
"Ah Lexie about time you should up." I frown, but kept my earbuds in one ear listening to my screamo music, I prevail my favorite band. "Guys this is my niece Lexie. She'll be staying with me for the year so I offered her to be a waitress here, we need more, so Tulip do you mind training her?" Tulip smiled.
"Love to. Come with me and I'll show you around." She said and lead her off. I just blasted my music.
"Can you have that any louder?" Ky asked laughing at me. I smiled back.
"Of course, but I don't want to go death. This is only half up." Both Alex and Ky looked at me shocked. Alex was like in his mid 40s, Ky was in his early 20s as was I, Tulip was barley 21, but it's okay because she doesn't work in the actual bar only delivered the drinks not make them. Then Jay was around the same age as Ky of 23 minus a year, I was 25. Alex was, I think, 45. Lexie looked 22, but I could be wrong.
I just went back to listening to music, to customers, and serving the at the bar people. By the time closing time came Lexie managed to get 2 orders right. The only people left for the night shift was Alex, Lexie, Ky, and I. Jay and Tulip called it a night hours ago. it was already 3 in the morning. Our working hours were 8pm-3am. It was long, but good. I jumped up onto the bar and slid my legs over and jumped back down.
"You can never go around." I just smiled and pulled my hat off causing my hair to fall forward. I brushed my sweaty hair back and was about to pull my hat back on, but Alex stopped me. "Now Jack we are doing this because we care." Ky said and handed Alex the scissors.
"Now we won't buzz it down or cut it all off, but we will trim it so it's better." i sighed knowing not to argue when they were serious, which is never. Alex started cutting as Ky told him how long and where. When they were done Ky handed me a mirror. "Here tell us what you think." I sighed and looked. My blonde hair was cut to mid neck and didn't even reach my forehead. They cut my bangs right off and cut the ends to half way over my ear and half way down my neck. The top was still layered, but was cut down a bit to be more thinner, but still thick. You could now see my big bright blue berry blue eyes.
"It's fine I guess." I said sighing handing back the mirror.
"Dude your eyes are even brighter than i remembered." i rolled my eyes and pulled my black hat back on, but had to take it off to tighten it.
"Great even my hat feels the hair lost." Ky laughed shaking his head. I put it back on. "Whatever I'm going home. I need sleep." "Ya defiantly. I was a busy night, too busy in my mind." I smiled and nod.
"Way too busy."
"Ya go home you two. You guys will be opening up tomorrow. I will be taking the day off and so will Jay. So it'll just be you two, Lexie, and Tulip." We nod and walked out. Great new girl.
For now I have to wash the loose hair off and eat and then go to bed. I am so tired. So very tired. Tomorrow is Sunday so not going to be busy. Tulips work Monday-Sunday because she's the only waitress, but now that Lexie is here they'll split the days up. Jay works Monday, Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays. Ky works Sundays, Mondays, Thursdays, Friday, and Saturdays, but on Sundays all he does is work from 8-10 then goes home. He works 8pm-3am everyday, but Mondays and Sundays. On Mondays he works 8pm-11pm, Sundays is 8pm-10pm. Jay works 8pm-11pm on Mondays, 8pm-12pm on Thursdays, 8pm-1am on Fridays and Saturdays. Tulips works 9pm-1pm everyday. Alex works Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays from 8pm-4am, even after we close up he still does all the booking for the night for another hour before leaving.
