It was seemingly always twilight in this place called Shadow Realm by some; but their people called it Bremmiaphere, it literally translated as Phantom Nexus. They were what they were and they were creatures who straddled two realms; a realm that required them to produce their form by their own power and Bremmiaphere; where the very air gave their forms substance. They shared this realm with several species but they knew they were superior. They were the intended ones. They were the all-powerful ones. They were the Cherra but to the outsiders; they became known as the Shouten.292Please respect copyright.PENANAltqeEm4SaT

The Cherra were all originally living in one place in the central part of Bremmiaphere; but as their numbers increased, their need for land did as well. They began to spread out and spread they did. Some even became brave to see the other realm that contained creatures that could be fed from. One did not even have to become solid to feed from these beings and it soon became the norm for Cherra to slip into the solid realm and feed from the solid ones as they referred to them. In the beginning they had chieftains of small tribes who would meet for bigger matters. As time passed it became apparent that these tribes had begun to take on different appearances even in Bremmiaphere. Soon the chiefs became clan leaders and the five great clans were born; the Sahen, the Koval, the Besud, the Jings, and the tr’Awnhi. The tr’Awnhi from the homelands and they were powerful. They were warriors and they were fearsome in their abilities to tame their enemies. Clan tr’Awnhi became the dominant one and soon enough; they were the royalty of the Cherra. The first chief of Clan tr’Awnhi was Enlil tr’Awnhi and his legacy was to bring the five clans together in Astana. Enlil was assassinated by one of his own sons who vied for power but then that son was put down by the second son; Rimush tr’Awnhi. These internal clan battles stayed normal and lasted for several hundred years for the Cherra. Rimush worked to keep the battles contained and he is considered by many as one of the first true kings of the Cherra.292Please respect copyright.PENANA9FtGzZ2iKL

There were other creatures in the other realm as well that were dangerous to the Cherra. Rimush realized that his kind should stay away from these beasts known as empusae and Ramanga. They were a deadly form of life for his people and he forbid phasing into the solid realm. His people did it anyway; the solid ones were that delicious but there were clashes with these other beings and Cherra would go missing and dead. Rimush had three wives and he had many sons but one beloved of him; his name was Naram.292Please respect copyright.PENANAIfpsav6obz

Rimush was killed in battle with Clan Jing and Naram would never forgive the Mongolian Cherra. His policy was to join the clans and he wanted no more fighting. He went to war to unite all the Cherra under Clan tr’Awnhi as the leading family. It took Naram two hundred fifty six cycles in Bremmiaphere to achieve his dream. Naram was crowned king of the Cherra when he was four hundred seven cycles. He was considered terribly young but very brave, powerful, and cunning man to have united his people. The question the Cherra asked themselves; could he keep it going? Would Clan tr’Awnhi always stay the ruling house?
