Françoise Dupont High School - Literature Classroom
Mr. Damocles is addressing the class.
"You only have one day to work on your fashion piece, and it must be your own design. In ten hours, your fittest presentation will be judged by none other than the great fashion designer Gabriel Agreste," Mr. Damocles says as Miss Bustier shows the class a picture of Gabriel on the projector. "The father of our very own student Adrien Agreste."
The class erupted into awed murmurs, with everyone turning toward Adrien, who rubbed the back of his neck sheepishly.
Mr. Damocles smiles. "In fact, Adrien will model the winning design in his next photoshoot!"
Marinette gasps in delight and smiles weirdly at the back of Adrien's head. Adrien's face flushed as more heads turned his way.
"And now, to announce this year's theme," Mr. Damocles says while Miss Bustier disclosed a derby hat on the screen. "Derby hats!"
"Derby hats?" Marinette questioned in worry.
"Derby hats?" Lily grins, feeling the opposite of what the blue-haired stalker was feeling.
Marinette looks at Chloé, who smugly makes a thumbs-down gesture to her.
Françoise Dupont High School - Courtyard
"This is absolutely perfect," Lily beams, sitting on a bench with Chloé and Sabrina. "I'm in my element, designing!" She clutches her sketchbook close to her chest.
"Lucky for you, you have plenty of experience of making derby hats." Chloe commented.
"You'll win, hands down." Sabrina added.
"Did you see how worried Dupain-Cheng looked? I bet that loser doesn't even know how to make a derby hat." Chloé smirks.
"Which is sad, considering how she wants to be a designer." Sabrina shakes her head.
"I'd thought any designer would first know how to make derby hats before making other kinds of hats." Lily commented.
Chloe shrugs, "I guess she doesn't."
"Well, if I win and Adrien models my hat, this could be my chance to start networking." Lily said.
"That's a great idea. Fashion designers could notice your talent." Sabrina agreed.
Then Lily and Chloe noticed Adrien walking over to them.
"Hey Adrien!" Lily and Chloe greeted.
"Hey girls!" Adrien greeted and then turned to Lily, "So Lily, are you going to design a derby hat?" He asked.
"Yup. Want to see a few that I drew?" Lily offered.
"Sure." Adrien smiled.
"Give me a sec." Lily began to flip through her sketchbook.
"I can wait." Adrien replied.
Lily giggled, "Well, patient boys are my type." She flirted obliviously, still flipping through her book.
Adrien's eyes widened as his cheeks turned pink while Chloe and Sabrina silently giggled.
Marinette shoots Lily a dirty look, 'How dare she flirt with Adrien?!' She thought angrily.
"Alright, here they are!" Lily shows Adrien a page of several hats that she sketched.

"Wow, Lily, these are amazing! You have a real good shot at winning the contest." Adrien beamed.
Lily smiled softly as she closes her sketchbook, "Thanks, Adrien."
"I hope you win, Lily. Can't wait to wear your hat." Adrien smiled and winked before he walked away.
"Later Adrien!" Lily waved at him.
Marinette feels a pang of hurt in her heart. 'But I thought he wanted to wear MY hat...'
"Did you hear that?! Adrien wants to wear your hat!" Sabrina beamed.
"You'll win for sure! Make sure that you beat Marinette, Lily!" Chloe winked.
Lily winked back, "I will, Chloe. Hey, can you give me a ride somewhere?" She asked.
"Sure." Chloe accepted and began to walk away.
Sabrina glanced over at the angry looking Marinette and scoffed, "Don't even bother with the competition Dupain-Cheng, it's not like you have a chance of winning with Lily around," She sneers before walking away with Lily and Chloé.
Marinette growls after the three girls, clenching her fists.
"Relax girl, she's wrong! You've definitely got a chance. And plus, Adrien thinks you're good enough to win!" Alya reminded the bluebell-eyed stalker.
"You're right!" Marinette smiles. "His opinion is all that matters."
Place des Vosges
Chloe's limousine soon stopped at Place des Vosges. Lily stepped out and soon closed the car door.
"Thanks for dropping me off, Chloe." Lily thanked her.
"No problem, Lily. Good luck on your design!" Chloe smiled.
Lily smiled back, "Thanks, Chloe."
"Okay, I'll see you later at the school." Chloe waved goodbye as the limo began to drive off and Lily waved back before the limo disappeared from view.
Lily went over to a bench and began sketching her derby hat.
"So what are you making, Lily?" Tikki asked, poking her head out from Lily's purse.
"I'm thinking of a Steampunk and Victorian combo design." Lily replied.
"Oooh, that sounds fun!" Trixx beamed, appearing next to Tikki.
An hour and a half later, Lily was finished with her design. She was very satisfied with the look.
"And done!" Lily beamed, gazing at her design.
Tikki and Trixx took a peek of the design and were awed at Lily's design.
"Wow!" Tikki and Trixx awed.
"Now that's a derby!" Tikki complimented.
"Totally awesome!" Trixx added.
Lily stood up and put her sketchbook away, "Thanks, Tikki, Trixx. I better get started then."
Then Lily left the park and headed home.
Trocadéro
Marinette is trying to get inspired to draw some designs. She draws something and then rips the paper out.
"Geez, it's hard to be creative under pressure." She huffed. "I have to think of something before that tramp takes Adrien's attention from me." She pouts.
Marinette keeps drawing new designs and ripping them out. After a while, she gets tired and looks up. A man walking like a bird sits down on a bench ahead of her. He takes out a brown paper bag and blows his bird call. A cluster of pigeons approaches. The bluenette dodges one.
Mr. Ramier is throwing food for the pigeons. "Well, happy day, happy day! Splendid is the afternoon day." He held out his arm and a pigeon land on it. "Ah Edgar, you fancy one." He feeds the pigeon before did a happy dance. "Fantastic, dazzling performance."
Just then a police officer approaches him, scaring the pigeons away.
"Scram, you winged rats!" Roger grumbles. "How many times do you need to be told, Mr. Ramier? No! FEEDING! The pigeons!" He picks up the brown paper bag. "It's strictly forbidden. If everyone feeds them, they'll leave their waste everywhere!"
"But, who's going to feed my poor pigeons?" Mr. Ramier asked, frowning.
"All the park keepers know about you, Mr. Ramier. Your banned from every park in Paris. Leave now or I'll call the authorities." Roger threatens. "Oh, wait. I'm the authority. GET OUT!" He yelled.
Mr. Ramier walks away sadly.
"Sheesh, I almost feel sorry for that man." Marinette said as she watches the scene unfold in front of her. "He's like a unique character. Like a human bird. All he needed was a feather jacket to complete the look."
The bluenette eyes widened in realization. "A feather jacket! Nice thinking, Marinette. You've done it again." She starts drawing again.
Seine Riverbank
Near the docks, Mr. Ramier walked, while sulking, before he sat on a bench near some pigeons and hang his head in sadness.
Hawk Moth's Lair
Hawk Moth was watching Mr. Ramier who was sulking.
"Poor, Mr. Ramier...The feeling of injustice. Such easy prey for my akuma," Hawk Moth as he held his hand up for the butterfly to land then cover it with his other hand, as the dark energy consumes turning the butterfly into an akuma. He opens his hand, and the butterfly flew off it. "Fly away, my little akuma...and evilize him!"
The Akuma flew out the window and flies through the city to its victim.
Rossi Household: Lily's Room
Lily is at her desk working on her derby hat while her laptop is playing the news.
Then she smiles after she finishes her derby hat. "And done!"
"Wow!" Tikki and Trixx beamed at the hat.

The derby was amazing in Lily's eyes, but Gabriel Agreste would be the one to decide if it was good enough for Adrien.
"Ladies and gentlemen, we have a winner!" Trixx announced and gestured to Lily and Tikki clapped while Lily giggled at their antics.
Just then her laptop that was still playing the news switched to a picture of pigeons.
"Pigeons have taken over Paris." Nadja announces off-screen.
Lily, Tikki and Trixx gasped as they watched the news.
"This is just one of the many alarming situations giving authorities cause for major concern," Nadja says, now on-screen. She then touches her earpiece. "Yes, I've just been told that someone named Mr. Pigeon is making an announcement."
A video pops up beside Nadja to show a civilian pointing at Mr. Pigeon, who was on the Eiffel Tower with his pigeons.
"Oh, dreary day, poor Parisians," Mr. Pigeon makes pigeon noises. "Sorry to ruffle your feathers, but Paris now belongs to the pigeons! Flap flap!" He makes pigeon noises.
Lily sighed at this news, "I knew this would happen."
"Really?" Tikki and Trixx asked, surprised.
"I wish I was there to prevent the problem. But Marinette would be there at where Mr. Pigeon was before he was Akumatized and she'd probably would accuse me of trying to steal her designs." Lily explained.
"Good point." Trixx agreed.
"Anyways, let's defeat this villain and get to the contest." Lily decided.
Tikki nodded, "Right."
"Tikki, Spots On!" Lily called out.
Lady Scarlet is yo-yoing through the air. She looks into the sky and gasps just then as she lands on a rooftop.
Just then in the air, she sees an airplane shape made out of pigeons flying through the sky.
"Now this is weirder than weird." Lady Scarlet folds her arms, staring at the pigeon airplane.
"Birds of a feather, flock together." Cat Noir suddenly said from a ledge above his partner. He sneezes just then and rolls down off the ledge to where they are standing. He does a flip and lands on his feet. "I'm allergic to feathers." He sneezes again.
"Well, isn't that helpful." Lady Scarlet smirked, putting a hand on her hip.
"Tell me about it." Cat Noir almost sneezes again, but Lady Scarlet stops him by putting a finger under his nose. He gave her a mouth-closed smile. "These birds are only part of the problem. The park keepers in Paris are vanishing without a trace."
"What? We have to track down Mr. Pigeon ASAP!" Lady Scarlet insisted.
"Where are we gonna find him?" Cat Noir quizzed.
"Since the park keepers are disappearing, let's let him find another one at the park." Lady Scarlet smirked.
Place des Vosges
Cat Noir is wearing a park ranger cap pretending to be a park ranger while whistling "La Marseillaise" as Lady Scarlet hide nearby behind a tree watching him.
The cat hero begins to start dancing.
Lady Scarlet chuckles. "Cute, kitty, but you need to act natural, or he'll never show up!"
"What do you mean? I am acting natural." Cat Noir replied, moonwalking.
Lady Scarlet shook her head in disbelief as she laughed.
Meanwhile, a pigeon watches Cat Noir and flies back to Mr. Pigeon. It lands on the villain's arm and reports his investigation in pigeon language.
"Lady Scarlet and Cat Noir? Job well done, buddy-boy. Pigeons will reign supreme! Power to the pigeons!" Mr. Pigeon jumps off the pillar, and the pigeons form a platform to carry him off.
Place des Vosges
Back in the park, the Miraculous duo was still waiting.
"Where is he?" Lady Scarlet whispered, frowning.
Just then a clustered of pigeons start flying overhead and Cat Noir sneezes. A bunch of pigeons form a bug ball and start carrying Cat Noir away.
"Kitty!" Lady Scarlet runs after him. She spun her yo-yo and wrapped it around a lamp post to launch herself into the sky.
The bug heroine followed after the pigeons all the way to the Le Grand Paris Hotel rooftop. The pigeons dropped Cat Noir off, who sneezes again.
Cat Noir looks in confusion as the pigeons stared at him, cooing as they waited for something, or rather a someone.
"Where's that bird-brain Mr. Pigeon?" Cat Noir questioned as Lady Scarlet arrived.
"He's gotta be here somewhere." Lady Scarlet frowned, scanning her surroundings.
The heroes were unaware that Mr. Pigeon was watching them while being supported in the air by his pigeons. A pink butterfly outlines his face.
"If you want to give Paris back to the pigeons for good, you must first rid the city of those two pests." Hawk Moth told him.
Mr. Pigeon blows his bird call, and the pigeons start to circle around Lady Scarlet and Cat Noir, surrounding them.
"What the hell." Lady Scarlet looks in disbelief.
The pigeons began to form a shield to keep the heroes in.
"Got any bright ideas, bug?" Cat Noir asked, shielding his face.
"At the moment, no. Sorry, kitty." Lady Scarlet apologized.
"S'fine, I'm sure you'll get one." Cat Noir assures.
Suddenly, a gigantic cage is brought down over the duo, imprisoning them.
"Oh, crap!" Lady Scarlet exclaimed when she notices the cage as the pigeons departed.
Mr. Pigeon makes triumphant pigeon noises. "Turpy day. I'm so ruthless." He chuckles as a pink bitterly outlines his face.
"Excellent. Now take their Miraculous!" Hawk Moth demanded.
Mr. Pigeon makes bird noises, ordering his pigeons to lower him to the heroes' level. "Your Miraculous. Give them to me or face the wrath of my feathered friends."
The villain sounds his bird call, and some pigeons start banging on the top of the cage, while others turn around and point their rears at Lady Scarlet and Cat Noir, causing their eyes to widen.
"Oh hell no!" Lady Scarlet cursed.
"Dada-dee, on the count of three, my beloved pigeons will commence fire." Mr. Pigeon gets off his pigeons and stepped onto the roof. "You can still say your sorry skin's by handing me your Miraculous. One, two..."
"Cat Noir, the bars!" Lady Scarlet says to her partner.
"Cataclysm!" Cat Noir uses his Cataclysm to destroy the bars of the cage, startling a few pigeons that was near the cage.
Mr. Pigeon cowers back toward the edge of the rooftop while Lady Scarlet and Cat Noir advance on him.
"Well, well, well," Lady Scarlet smirked, "Looks like the pigeon's really a chicken, Cat Noir."
Just as Mr. Pigeon turned to jump over the ledge, Lady Scarlet quickly used her yo-yo to wrap around his right foot and pulled him back and made him land onto the ground on his back. The bird caller somehow slid of his neck and landed by Lady Scarlet's feet. She quickly stomped on it, releasing the Akuma.
"Oh no you don't, you filthy, Akuma!" Lady Scarlet spins her yo-yo and captures the Akuma. "Gotcha!" She opens her yo-yo, releasing the purified butterfly, "So long, butterfly."
After that, she summoned her Lucky Charm which revealed to be a Lady Scarlet themed coin.
Lady Scarlet's brow arched, "A coin?"
"Maybe to help pay for his fine for disturbing the peace?" Cat Noir joked.
Lady Scarlet chuckled and threw the object in the air, "Miraculous Scarlet!"
It turns into a burst of energy and restores everything back to normal.
Mr. Pigeon reverts back to Mr. Ramier. "Huh? What happened? Where am I?"
"Pound it!" The duo fist bumped.
Hawk Moth's Lair
"Wretched pigeons, wretched Lady Scarlet. I'll destroy every one of you!" Hawk Moth declares as his window closes.
Marinette's Room
"There's no time to lose. I have less than an hour." Marinette frowns as she keeps working on her hat.
Françoise Dupont High School; Courtyard
Everyone is getting ready to present their hats.
Chloé and Sabrina are standing by a presentation stand, waiting for Lily.
"Girls!" The Rossi girl came running up to them, holding a maroon-colored box. "I'm here."
"You made it right on time." Chloe smiled.
"Show us your hat." Sabrina urged.
"Not right now," Lily puts the box on the stand. "I'll reveal it later on."
"Ooh, the suspense! I can't wait to see it." Sabrina squealed, making Chloé giggle.
Just then Nathalie Sancoeur, Gabriel's assistant, arrives in the building.
"Hello, Mr. Damocles, I am Mr. Agreste's executive assistant Nathalie." The woman introduced herself.
"Hello, miss." Mr. Damcoles greeted, "Pardon me, but where is Mr. Agreste?"
Nathalie holds up a tablet, revealing Gabriel.
"I'm here." He said through the screen.
"Ah, uh, hello Mr. Agreste. Welcome to our school." Mr. Damocles says.
"Adrien, take Nathalie around." Gabriel orders.
"Ah, there's Mr. Agreste!" Chloé beams when she notices the man on the tablet. "He's coming this way!"
"Calm down, Chlo." Lily smiles.
Mr. Damocles, Nathalie, and Adrien go up to see Juleka and Rose's hat.
"As you'll see, Mr. Agreste, our students have poured their hearts and souls into their projects." Mr. Damcoles said.
Just then Marinette rushes in and carries her pink round box over to Alya and puts it on the stand, sighing with relief.
Chloé rolls her eyes. "Ugh, there's Dupain-Cheng."
Lily and Sabrina looked over at the blue-haired stalker she takes off the box, revealing her derby hat.
"Ew! That hat looks so bland." Chloé gagged.
"And is that a pigeon feather? Doesn't she know Adrien's allergic to feathers?" Lily raised an eyebrow.
"Hopefully it's synthetic." Sabrina commented.
"I don't think it is." Lily frowned.
Mr. Damocles, Nathalie, Gabriel (via tablet), and Adrien walked over to see Marinette's hat.
She grins weirdly at Adrien. He notices and becomes a little uncomfortable.
"How... decent..." Gabriel gives his dry opinion on Marinette's derby.
Adrien sneezes just then. "I-Is this a real pigeon feather?" He asked Marinette, pointing at the feather on the hat.
"Is it- I mean, it is! It's a real pigeon sweater, uh, feather. W-Why?" Marinette asks.
"I'm allergic to feathers." Adrien sneezes again, backing away from the hat.
Glancing at the feather on the hat, Marinette looks guilty.
"I'm sorry," Adrien apologized. "But my allergies are really bad. Is it okay if you remove the feather?"
"No, I-I'll do it for you." Marinette immediately agreed. She removed the feather from the hat.
"Thank you." Adrien rubs his nose, sniffling.
"Excuse me, Mr. Agreste, you haven't seen Lily's hat yet!" Chloe called out.
"Ah yes, let us see." Gabriel requested and Natalie turned the tablet to Lily.
Marinette rolls her eyes at her enemy. 'As if her tacky hat will ever match mines.' She huffed.
"Here's my design." Lily lifts the lid to reveal her hat.
"Interesting. A combination of Steampunk and Victorian. What made you think of this design?" Gabriel questioned.
"Truth be told, I'm a big fan of Steampunk and Victorian theme designs. I wanted to do a combination of the two. Steampunk is a popular theme in today's time and in the past, and I put some Victorian theme to reminds us of another popular trend in the past. I also believe that Victorian themes would suit Adrien's style." Lily explained.
"I see. A combination of the past and present trends. You truly have your mother's talent, Miss Lily." Gabriel complimented.
Lily smiled softly, "Thank you, Mr. Agreste." She thanked him.
"Well then, congratulations to you, Miss Lily. You are the winner of this contest." Gabriel congratulated.
Lily grew in excitement and bowed. "Thank you, Mr. Agreste."
Marinette gawked at this in disbelief.
"Adrien will wear your derby hat on our next advertising campaign." Gabriel disclosed.
Adrien walks over to Lily and held her hand. "Awesome job, Lily. I knew you could do it!"
Lily blushed furiously. "T-Thanks, Adrien."
The blonde then puts on her hat and posed. "How do I look?"
Lily gave him a teasing smile. "You're looking quite dashing, my good sir." She wraps her hand around his shoulder.
Marinette glared angrily at Lily. Alya simply patted her shoulder.
"There's always next time, Marinette." Alya assured her.
Marinette let out a sigh of defeat as she watches Adrien and Lily smiling at each other. Then Chloe and Sabrina hugged Lily, and the girls chuckled along with Adrien. The bluenette wondered how she was ever going to get Adrien to pay all his attention on her.
