A/N: I've re-edited the "Mysterious Heirloom" chapter once more. I forgot to put a Guardian's staff inside the chest as well.

Le Grand Paris Hallways
Today was an important day for Lily and her classmates. They were doing a film for their school. The film was about the mysterious death of an actress and her ghost haunts the hotel on the day of her death. Lily and Nino had quite the debate on the theme of the film. Lily suggested a murder mystery while Nino suggested horror. Then everyone decided to vote, and Lily's idea won in the end. Chloé offered to be the deceased actress named Cassandra Anderson and Mylène was offered to be Detective Alexis Carter, a female detective who wanted to solve the actress's death. Ivan was playing Daniel Martin, Alexis's love interest and partner in crime. Lily and the others had to ask a lot of people if they wanted to help but also had to get permits for things as well. Luckily, they got the permits, costumes, props and the people they needed for their film. Another one of Lily's uncles also came over with a few friends to help them make a small set for them as well.
At the moment, they were readying a scene when Mylène and Ivan would encounter Cassandra's ghost. Then the scene began, Mylène and Ivan were walking through the hallways and gasped when Chloé appeared.
"Don't be alarmed, I'm here to warn you." Chloé assured the two.
"Warn us? Of what?" Ivan questioned.
"Of whom my killer is." Chloé answered.
"Your killer? You know who he is?" Mylène inquired.
Chloé nodded, "Yes, even though they were in a mask. I think I recognized them. Try and find my journal. The answer might be in there." She explained.
Chloé backed away a little.
"And cut!" Nino called out.
Chloé, Mylène and Ivan let out sighs of relief.
"Great job, guys." Lily smiled at the three.
"Thanks!" Chloé, Mylène and Ivan thanked her.
"Okay, break time!" Nino announced.
Everyone let out a sigh of relief and headed towards the lobby.
Hotel Lobby
Everyone put the equipment down and went over to the tables where the snacks and drinks were.
"Everything seems to be going smoothly so far." Adrien commented.
"I'm glad of that." Nino said with relief.
"Hey Mylène, how were you able to confront Cassandra's ghost? You looked so brave. Before you used to scream every time that you saw her." Rose inquired.
"It's thanks to Lily and Chloé actually." Mylène spoke up.
Everyone was surprised at Mylène's words.
"Lily and Chloé?" Marinette questioned in shock.
Alya's brow arched, "How, exactly?"
Mylène, Ivan, Lily and Chloé looked at each other and smiled.
Le Grand Paris Hallways - An hour ago
"AAAHHH!" Mylene screamed when she saw Chloé and hid behind Ivan.
"And cut!" Nino yelled.
"I'm sorry!" Mylène apologized.
"It's okay, Mylène. I don't blame you." Chloé assured her.
Mylène let out a sigh of defeat.
"Mylène, that's like, the tenth take, and we're only on the first scene!" Nino informed.
"Fourteenth actually," Alix held up the clapperboard. "But who's counting?"
Nino groans.
"I'm... sorry." Mylène apologized, seeing Nino's irritated face. "I'm gonna do better on the next take, I promise."
"You're playing a brave female detective. You're not supposed to get all freaked out!" Nino told Mylène.
"Nino, don't be so hard on her," Lily lightly scolded as she walked over to Chloé, Mylène and Ivan with an orange box, "She's just a little shy since this is her first time being in a film," She opens the box to reveal delicious double chocolate cookies inside.
"Would you guys like one? My parents and I made them." Lily offered.
"Thanks, Lily." Chloé, Mylène and Ivan thanked her as they each took one.
"Can I have one, Lily?" Adrien asked.
"Sure." Lily smiles as Adrien took a cookie from the box and took a bite of it, humming in delight.
Marinette rolled her eyes. She didn't understand why Adrien would even eat from Lily.
"I'm not being hard on her, Lily. I'm just telling her facts!" Nino protested to his friend.
Lily looks at Mylène, who had already finished eating her sweet treat. "Nino's right, Mylène. Do you really want this?"
"Of course I do!" Mylène replied. "It's just... that costume and makeup that Chloé's wearing is so... realistic and scary..."
"Her outfit isn't even scary anyway, Mylène. I don't know why you're overreacting." Alya told the girl nonchalantly.
Mylène frowned, upset at the blogger's words.
"Mylène, we need you to stay in character." Nino told Mylène.
"I need to sing my happy song, it always makes me feel better," Mylène takes a breath and starts singing. "Smelly wolf, smelly wolf, stinky breath and slimy-" She bumps into Chloé just then. "Ahhh!" She turns around to see it was Chloé.
Marinette groans. "Mylène, are you serious? If you're gonna act like a scaredy-cat afraid of its own shadow, then I don't think being an actress is for you."
"Marinette!" Adrien and Lily glared at her.
The blue-haired hypocrite shrunk away from their gazes. "I-I'm just sewing, I mean, saying..."
Mylène runs away out of the classroom, crying.
"Mylène!" Lily yelled as she ran out, reaching for the girl, but she had already gone down the hallways.
"Dupain-Cheng, what the hell is wrong with you?!" Chloé yells at her enemy. "Mylène was already self-conscious enough, but you just made it worse! Some friend you are!"
Everyone was surprised that the Bourgeois girl was defending Mylène. They would've thought she would've been the one to make Mylène run out sobbing, but it was the so-called good girl Marinette.
"I d-didn't mean to hurt her feelings." Marinette tries to defend herself, seeing the glares aimed at her.
"But you did, Marinette," Lily spoke up. "You said those hurtful things without even using your brain to think about how she would react. Now, because of you, Mylène might not even wanna continue filming!"
Marinette, feeling awkward and mortified, put her head down while Alya rubbed her back.
"I'll go after Mylène. Be right back." Lily decided.
"I'll go with you." Ivan added.
"Me too." Chloé added.
Lily smiled before she, Ivan and Chloé ran after Mylène.
Hotel Lobby
Mylène was sitting at the bottom of the stairs while crying. Lily, Chloé and Ivan walked down the stairs and stood next to her. Ivan sat next to her and wrapped his arm around, trying to comfort her.
"Mylène, don't listen to what Marinette had said." Lily advised.
"But she's right. I'm easily scared, unlike you and Chloé." Mylène admitted.
Lily was about to say something.
"Mylène, I'm gonna tell you something. But you can't tell anyone. That includes you Lily, Ivan." Chloé pointed at Lily and Ivan before she took a deep breath and let it out, "When Kim was Akumatized, I was terrified when he attacked me. I was so scared and almost couldn't move. If Lady Scarlet hadn't shown up and Sabrina dragging me away, I hate to think about what would have happened." She admitted.
Mylène looked up at Chloé with shock. She never expected that Chloé would admit something like that.
"It's okay to be afraid, Mylène. It's what makes us human. Fear is just a trick our minds play on us. If we didn't have fear, we'd do reckless things, so I say it's not all that bad." Lily assured her.
Mylène smiled softly at Lily. She was truly grateful to her and Chloé. Even though she was surprised that Chloé would admit that she was afraid when Dark Cupid appeared. She was glad that she wasn't the only one afraid of something.
"And if you still can't do it, just imagine everyone is a flower. Plants don't judge, so you have nothing to be afraid of." Lily suggested.
Then Ivan takes a black skull pin he had and gives it to Mylène, "Here. It's from my favorite band, the Zombie Skull Crushers. Hopefully it will give you a little more courage." He prayed.
"Wow..." Mylène smiled as Ivan rubs the back of his neck.
"Now, why don't we go back there and show Marinette who the real detective is?" Lily suggested.
Mylène nodded and stood up with her fists clenched in front of her, "I'm ready!"
Hotel Lobby
Mylène giggled, "That's a secret." She replied.
Lily, Chloé and Ivan smiled at that. They were glad that Mylène was feeling better and that she wanted to continue filming.
"You're doing a great job, Mylène." Sabrina complimented.
"Thanks, Sabrina." Mylène smiled.
"You and Chloé did a good thing for Mylène." Adrien said to Lily and Chloé.
"Well, Mylène has a great potential to become someone brave. This is one of these times that she'll look back on and remember to be brave." Lily stated.
Adrien turned to Mylène who was taking to Juleka and Rose.
"Yeah. I think so too." Adrien agreed, smiling.
City Hall. Mayor's Office
Nino shows the finished movie to the Mayor. The end is of Mylène with her back to the camera watching the sky on the roof of the hotel before the fancy word, 'FIN' appeared on the screen.
"Well, Mr. Mayor? What do you think? Off the hook, right?" Nino asked André.
The mayor hums, nodding in agreement.
Outside City Hall
"We made the cut! He said that it was a great mystery! No joke!" Nino disclosed, grinning.
"That's excellent news Nino." Mr. Damocles praised.
"That's great, bud!" Adrien puts his hand on his best friend's shoulder. "This is your start line to becoming a great movie director."
Nino rubs the back of his head, "Yeah. If it weren't for Lily's idea for the film, I never thought it would get accepted."
"Well, I'm just glad that everything worked out." Lily smiled at the two.
For Lily, she was glad that Mylène wasn't Akumatized. She was very brave to take on the role of a brave female detective. She was also happy that Chloé was able to help Mylène get over her fear. So today was a good day.
