That’s all I could see. It swallowed me, scaring me in ways I never thought possible. I was terrified, more than ever before.195Please respect copyright.PENANA6MdVNkrlfL
I waited and waited for my eyes to adjust, yet it never happened.
The metal shackles around my wrist left bruises and cuts, digging into my skin painfully.
The sound of keys jiggling caught my attention, he was here. My breath caught in my throat and the air around suddenly felt thick, full of dust and grime.
The door slammed open, revealing a twenty-something year old man wearing a creepy smile.
I held her back, I could risk phasing. Not when this strange man was standing just meters in front of me with a syringe full of liquid wolfs bane hanging loosely in his large hands.
The tears fell, I only noticed though when salty drops fell past my quivering lips into my mouth.
I breathed. In, out. My wolf was fighting, trying to break through my barrier.
The man moved, for the first time since he came in. I closed my eyes, only opening them again when the door slammed shut.
The key to the shackles was thrown over to my current position, letting me know it was okay for me to remove them.
He was now in front of me, blue orbs moved, inspecting every inch of my small body.
“You know, I might actually find some use for you.” He whispered, before pinning me against the wall.
A burst of confidence streamed through me.
I almost laughed, holding it in. he obviously didn’t notice the dagger he had stupidly dropped in his previous visit, he obviously didn’t see me yank it out of the waistband of my pants. And he most definitely didn’t notice me dig the dagger straight into his chubby stomach.
I watched him bleed out, before smiling.
I left, but not before turning back to his almost dead body.
“Goodnight, sweetheart.”
