"Look! Look! I can do a cartwheel!" exclaimed Golden as she did a cartwheel.
"Wow! Good job!" said Seraphina, who was drawing with chalk on the concrete.
"Can you do a cartwheel?" asked Golden as she started to draw with the chalk too.
"I can try." said Seraphina as she stood up and tucked her shirt into her shorts.
"Yay!" said Golden as she drew something with the chalk.
"Okay… watch out!" said Seraphina as she did a cartwheel, then a backbend, then a backflip, and landed on her hands to do a walking handstand back to the concrete.
"Wow!" said Golden as she finished up her drawing.
"I used to do gymnastics, so that’s where I learned to do that." explained Seraphina as she sat down on the ground.
"Hey, Golden, what did you draw?" asked Denver.
"Oh! I drew a picture of Seraphina and Mason fighting, if Seraphina had powers. I just felt like drawing it." shrugged Golden as Seraphina’s face got white as a ghost.
"Seraphina, are you alright?" asked Mason as he walked over to Seraphina.
"Yeah… I just need to get something to drink." stuttered Seraphina as she stood up.
"Oh, alright. I’ll come too." said Mason as he and Seraphina went inside.
"Hey, Golden, what made you draw that?" asked Denver.
"I don’t know. Something just… made me feel like drawing it. Almost like it happened, but I know it didn’t happen. Sera doesn’t have powers." explained Golden.
"Hmm…. and when did Clara say you get your powers?" asked Denver, as he tried to piece the puzzle together in his brain.
"Around six, why?" asked Golden, who was very confused.
"And your sixth birthday is soon…. Hmm…" murmured Denver to himself.

"How did she draw it that realistic?" asked Seraphina, who was very scared.
"I think it might have to do with her powers. They come in soon, so she can probably see into the past, and maybe even the future." explained Mason.
"That makes sense." agreed Seraphina.
"We just have to be extra careful now, unless you feel ready." replied Mason.
"No. Not yet. I wish it was never, but it will have to be soon. Until the time comes, we keep denying it. I don’t have powers. When it is time, I will know. Let’s just try to put it off for a little longer." said Seraphina.
"Alright. Just remember, I’ll always be here for you." said Mason.
"Thanks." said Seraphina as she headed outside.
"It needs to be soon." whispered Mason as he pulled out his phone
