It was the day. As I made my daily morning Coffee, I picked up a book from the Christmas Aisle and sat down to read. Yep, the normal life of me, Serena silk. My parents were away on a business trip, so I was alone in my parent's mansion. My company was my personal butler and my phone, my friends were all away on vacation with their parents. If only mine were home. When I was done, I went for a walk. I saw little kids having a snow fight. A saw a small puppy in the corner and went to the nearby store to buy food for it. As I was feeding it, Billy, the most popular guy in school walked over and said, "hey, I didn't know you liked dogs." I wasn't a fan of him. He's a player, infact he's dating half the 9th grade girls. I was one of the people who could resist his charm, and I simply walked away, ignoring him.When I got home. I realised I had dropped my tiny pocket diary on my way. I was running back to the alleyway where I thought I might have dropped it, when I crashed into Billy. "watch out California, here's somethin you dropped." I watched in relief as he handed me back my book. "Jerk. "Hey, I just did you a favour what Jerk am I?" I rolled my eyes and was about to leave when he grabbed my hand and asked me out. I said a polite "Nah" when he said, "If you do, I might consider giving you the nintendo 6000" I stopped in my tracks. Did he say Nintendo 6000? it was all my older brother suffering from cancer wanted. It had been sold out for weeks, and it felt like it was the least I could do for my brother. "Fine" I said. He smirked. "When?" I asked. "How about now?" I mean, I was hungry, I had skipped breakfast so I agreed. He wasn't so bad actually. Wait no no no, was I falling for him? He said he would give me the nintendo only if I went out with him the next day. I was mad, but I'd do anything for my brother. The next I got ready. And we met at the same Café from yesterday. I heard a buzz. Oh, that was my phone. "No...this can't be happening..." My brother had died. Tears rolled down my face. My brother...had died on Christmas morning... Billy asked if everything was okay. I ran out of there. Billy Ran after me. I stopped at a hill. When we were kids, we hung out there. "Hey, what's wrong? you can talk to me" I sadly replied, My brother died, leave me alone jerk. "Oh I'm sorry to hear that I guess I'll just say this, I really like you Serena. all the way since 5th grade." I stared at the mud puddle in shock. "You do?" I- um I took a breath. "I like you too. " I answered. He pulled me for a hug.
Christmas had offically ended. I was back in school when I saw something that didn't shock me too much. Billy cheated. He had asked to be his girlfriend, and here he is, asking a girl to be his girlfriend. She refused, good for her. I slapped him and said "Stupid bitch, I'm dumping you" Good thing it was hometime, my favorite part. Just then, winston walked to me, my huge crush. HE THY WINSTON, THY WINSTON asked me out. Looks like it's not so lonely after all.
