Day 1
In the afternoon, Amber went to the psychiatrist.
" Can you promise you will be careful after you go home?" Doctor Lin asked her. "This is not something I can control. I am being controlled!" Amber thought to herself.

"You must go out for a while. I want to talk to your mom."
They talked for a while, and then asked Amber to come back into the room to tell her the news.
" If I let you be hospitalized for one to two weeks, is that acceptable?" Amber was shocked at first and then said," I….don't know…"
"Okay, I will decide for you," Doctor Lin said. "We will hospitalize you and you can be cured in the hospital."
Doctor Lin gave Amber a form and asked her to go to the fifth floor to get an ECG and then go to the third floor to get an x-ray. After Amber finished, she went back to wait for the doctor. She took the hospital admission form and went up to the sixth floor and rang the bell. After the nurses arrived, Amber was
body-searched. They were in the ward.
“Why do I need to be shut in here just because of that powerful voice in me?” Amber thought and then cried.
“ What happened?” the nurse asked.

After Amber went into the ward, that power was full of anger and tried to make her kill herself.
“ You are safe here !” Her dad says…
“ You are in danger, so your father will sleep with you tonight !” the nurse said to Amber. Her room was Room 601,a single room.
Amber panicked, as it is not like the regular ward.

Day 2
“Wake up!” Amber woke up in the morning.
The first activity in the morning was a life group discussion.
Everyone need to say their name and give their New Year's resolution. "
I want to do well in school," Amber said.
Next, they talked about the problems they have when they were living there. Then the activity ended.
In the morning, Doctor Lin came to visit Amber. “ How is the power?”

There was a girl named Coco who was born in 2000. She would often talk on the phone with no one. But she was really cute and said to Amber, ”Hey bro!”
In the afternoon, her uncle and two teachers came to visit Amber. She was really happy. In the evening, her mom and brother and Teacher Huang came!

After Amber woke up, there were three people who asked Amber about the strange power that she was feeling inside her. “You need to be hospitalized because of your situation.”

The activity today is watching a movie, but Amber didn’t really understand what the movie was about. In the afternoon, the doctor came to see her.

This morning, the activity was writing Christian poety. It was fun.
In the afternoon, Teacher Huang and Amber’s aunt came to visit her. “ Here is a pen. You can write a diary!" they said to her.
When they are talking, Mindy, another patient, went to Amber to pinch her. Amber didn’t know what happened at first. Then she feel pain.
The doctor came and asked the same question. “How is that power you are feeling?”
“ It's not that strong now. I can try to defeat it, but if it wants to kill me, I can't stop it.”
But the doctor said that Amber has improved.
“ I hope that I can go out for a while to breathe some fresh air, “ Amber thinks to her self.
During the afternoon, theyed play games like Wii. Amber really enjoyed it! “That might be the best activity here!!” Amber thought.
That night, Coco kept talking to Amber.
Amber was in a bad mood, so she went to see the view at night, but Coco kept coming near to Amber.

Amber really wanted to leave the ward because life outside was more interesting. Although the nurses and doctors inside were nice, she liked freedom more!

Amber’s father was almost kicked out out hospital for bringing in a Swiss army knife. How crazy he was to do that!

That morning, Amber’s father was scared by Coco because Coco suddenly went into the room and called him “Mr. Chou.”
“ I felt my heart was going to explode,” Amber’s father said. When the doctor came, he said,
“ You have schizophrenia.“ That is what Amber thought, too!
Today, Amber was allowed to go out for a while.
She went to eat something and went to her uncle’s house, which maded her ireally happy. Later, Amber’s arm felt uncomfortable.
She could not endure the pain. So she told the nurse.
“ I don’t know how to help you,” the nurse said. “ Maybe I can give you an injection”
It felt better after that.
At night, Coco was locked in a protected room because she vomited on other people's food.
But they all thought that Coco did not mean to do intentionally. It was just an accident. Coco liked to call Amber “ Bro.”
And she called Amber’s father “Mr.Chou.”
And she always called Teacher Huang "Eric brother.”
So Teacher Huang joked. “I see I need to wear a mask before I come next time.”
