*KALLIE:*
The alarm clock rang.
Well, that's the only thing I heard so far. It took me a few movements in bed to see everything in my room. That is, I had to survive blurriness first. Man, having myopia is hard. Maybe you guys know that Myopia is the inability of seeing things far away. It took me a few minutes to grab my glasses. And in the last minute I fell down on the stupid, messed-up bed with a blue pillow that has a pencil design on it. I finally managed to get my glasses from the old rusty drawer. I put it on and didn't even complain about the thin tissue wrapped in the center. Weird, I usually do. Well, maybe I got used to it. You may ask why did I have that thin tissue at the center on the first place. Well, due to the fact that I used this glasses about 3 years ago, and then last year, the center broke, which disconnects the two lens. Okay, I'll stop babbling about those glasses now. They are not important. I got up and changed. But it wasn't easy. Because I only have 23 pairs of outfits and I used them every school day. I sighed as I grabbed the one that I call "First Day Attire". Even though it's not the first day, it IS Monday, which is the first day of every week. Ok, I think you got the logic. What, with a blue blouse and a white mini-skirt, are you gazed by my looks??? Oh no, people are VERY tired of what I'm wearing. A quarter of them even know I have 23 pairs of outfits. See how mortifying that kind of thing is? I looked out the window and waited for my best friend, Amber. She was combing her nice pink curly hair, wearing a red and white sleeveless shirt, and some jeans. She also put on her yellow Converse shoes that I gave her for Christmas. Amber noticed me and walked over the window.
"Finally! I thought you were never going to get up." Amber said as she sighed.
"Uh, yeah..." I grinned a little and got my toothbrush and toothpaste.
"I bumped into your mom, she told me she had to go to work 3 hours ago." Amber declared as she put the comb down.
After a little while of getting off the window, I went back into the window and did a confused look.
"Wait, so you PRETENDED to comb your hair?" I said with a gasp.
"Yeah, it's a way of getting your attention." Amber grinned.
"You really are my best friend." I said with a warm smile.
Amber cleared her throat and finally declared:
"Come on, let's go! We're going to Harper Berry now."
Amber got her Jansport Backpack and left.
I shouted:
"WAIT FOR ME!"
I grabbed MY Jansport Backpack and rushed off.
I then looked at Amber with a sickly face.
I muttered:
"I didn't eat my breakfast."
Amber smiled.
"Here's an apple. Eat it along our bus ride."
Our bus appeared in a flash. Jeez, I only took one much. Dear God. We stepped in.
I enjoyed the apple. Amber drank some Orange Juice.
We got into Harper Berry Academy in no time. We got out and went.
As we entered the gates, nobody bugged me. Everyone was smiling and chitchatting with friends. Amber whispered that everything will be alright for me. I took a deep breath. I hope that she's right. We continued walking, to our lockers.
