What is hell? Most would say that hell is where Satan resides, or that hell is where the bad people go. Hell is a broad word. It encompasses so many things, other than the devil himself. Hell is an adjective. Used to describe pain, knives in the back, brand-new ghosts, and strangers who have known each other for eternity. Like most things, it is more complex than at first glance. Hell is regret, and it is also loss. Hell is heartbreak, and it is also indifference. Hell is many, many things. But it is also one thing. Hell can be tied back to one thing. It can be described as one thing, one thing that envelopes all. You want to know what I think Hell really is?
