there's a lim-it to what the brain can remember

suppressed memories like to be grabby.. hit me on the back

all those memories I've stored at the top of that ladder fall

look at my pale face like "damn what's that matter, you don't look well at all."

walking into places you tell me to go

sitting there pretty.. hook line and sinker

it's something with chemistry, something with my bi-o.

throws me into panic when i hear a scream

i know what's happening downstairs

everything's ripping at the seam

he's down on the floor

six kids are sobbing in the hall.

it shakes me to my core being hit with these twisted memories

reeling through my head like old fucked up documentaries

clips from the "loony bin"

my arms strapped to a board

screaming, cursing, dying

give that abusive staff an award.

shutting me up cus you hit me in the face

no one ever saw it, they think you calmed me down

isn't this supposed to be our supportive healing place

so when I heard the scream and the bang of a body being slammed to the ground

suddenly i cant breath and i see myself back in the torn up gown

limbs held down, heads hitting walls

be afraid to stand up for yourself, never stand too tall

cus I can promise the moment you shed a tear

good ol' mr. mike is real near

I'm sitting in at my desk and I'll see is you

no words to use, no way to explain

all your doing is fucking up my brain.

see my brain made me forget but now I just remember

all the things you did to us back in september.
