The lobby of the hotel had multi-colored art installations dripping from the high ceiling and a few green cushioned chairs were sprinkled across the cream and brown mosaic tiled floor.
In the center was glass topped table upon which two medium sized vases with blooming orchids were placed.
As Aiden made his way through the lobby one sentence kept ringing over and over again in his mind:
"I am not supposed to be here."
The whole situation felt sinful and iniquitous, for he knew it was a bad decision coming to the hotel lobby.
Meeting Han in secret was wrong and yet why did it feel like a vow?
Looking around Han was no in sight.
Aiden decided to leave.
At that very moment Han appeared before him.
Seeing Han this close was like a physical shock with the same melting dark eyes that haunted his dreams.
Aiden decided to still leave but Han stopped him with these words.
"Leave White and let's get back together."
Aiden was appalled by how Han could arouse as intense feelings in him and looking into those melting dark eyes felt like traveling into another world.
"Did you follow me to Hua Hin?" Aiden needed to know.
"I will follow you to Hades if I have to," Han confessed without guilt or shame.
"You should not have done that," Aiden lowered his eyes to avoid Han's probing gaze.
"Was I wrong following you when you are all I think about? I live only for you and that has been the history of my life."
Aiden's heart trembled painfully.
"You are making this more difficult than it should be."
"During our separation I learned only one thing. That I cannot exist without you. That I cannot breathe without you. You are everything to me."
Aiden fought valiantly to keep himself composed as waves of intense emotions washed over him.
"Do not say such such things to me when you know I am already in a relationship."
Han inclined his head to one side.
"You can always break up with White."
"White has asked me to marry him," Aiden choked as he said the words.
Han pressed. "Are you going to?"
"Yes, I am."
"Do not marry him."
It was something between an appeal and a command.
Aiden had to battle everything inside him to not give into Han's request.
"Goodbye Han."
Aiden turns to leave but Han prevents him from doing so.
"You can pretend all you want but it's not going to change the fact that I love you."
"We can't keep doing this. It's madness!" Aiden cried helplessly.
"I will give everything for us to be together again."
At this point Aiden could not long fight the feelings.
Han instinctively knew now was the right time. He pulled Aiden tightly against him and felt a bolt of lightening that jarred his body.
Time and space fell away when Han's lips crushed Aiden's.
Aiden could feel himself falling in love over and over again and was caught up in the magic of the moment.
The ringing of Aiden's phone ended the kiss.
The caller was White.
Aiden became even more distraught and decided not answer.
Far across the lobby, May witnessed the entire intercourse between Han and Aiden.
An amused smile touched her lips.
Lifting up her phone, May snaps a picture of Han as whispered into Aiden's ear.
She sends the picture to White.
White sat by himself wondering where Aiden was when a message from May flashed across the screen.
White looks at the picture critically trying to ascertain if their interaction was harmless or not.
Clearly there was something between the two.
May's name flashes across the screen again.
White answers.
"Hello."
"Did you like the picture?"
"Where are you?"
May only giggled before she teased further.
"I can't seem to get my bearings right......Wait are you jealous?"
White derided.
"Why would I jealous?"
"Since you have no feelings for Aiden I will send another one."
White's frustration was growing.
"Tell me where you are?"
May giggles and then ends the call
A new message from May appears on his screen again which White quickly opens.
It was a video of Han kissing Aiden.
Fury started stirring his blood as he calls Aiden to demand his whereabouts.
Aiden did not answer.
This increases White's indignation which caused him to pick up a chair and hurls it across from him.
"Aiden how could you do this me!"
Once his rage calmed some what White watched the video again and again.
........"Aiden........."
Han came closer to the object of his desire which was covered in the shadows.
Then Han calls again in his deep voice.
"My love....."
Aiden appears from the shadows and upon seeing the burning cravings in Han's eyes quickly jumps into his waiting arms.
"I want you Aiden and I know you want me too."
"Yes...."Aiden moans. "I want you more than anything."
Soon they were kissing, more seriously, more gently and more passionately.......
White woke suddenly with bullets of sweat all over his face.
He signed with relief when he realized it was a dream.
It was just a dream.
Pushing the duvet away he swung onto his heel before reaching for a glass of water on his bedside table and drained its contents.
After seeing Han and Aiden kiss he was now dreaming about it.
He stomach tightened.
White never anticipated he would care this deeply about Aiden that was why the video had affected him so.
Even now many ideas and wild fantasies about Han and Aiden kept flashing through his mind causing him to be restless.
White rubbed his face with his hands before getting up and going into the bathroom.
Aiden looked up as White sat down at the breakfast table.
"Good morning," Aiden dipped his spoon into a bowl of yogurt mixed with sliced bananas, strawberries and pomegranates.
Picking up his fork and knife, White cut into his fried eggs.
"Why have you changed the way you dress your hair?"
Aiden could sense the steel lurking behind the mildness of the question.
Was White trying to get a rise out him?
Aiden wondered.
"Do you not like it this way?" Aiden's tone was cool.
White put down his fork and knife as his eyes bore into Aiden.
"No I don't," White answered shortly as reached for his teacup.
Aiden pondered about the change in White's mood.
"Is there something your personal life would like to tell me about?"
"What do you mean?"
Aiden hoped he was not referring to Han.
"Does Han like it when you dress your hair this way?"
"Excuse me.....?"
White reached across the table and gripped Aiden's fingers with such intensity that he thought his bones would break.
White was glaring at Aiden as if he had violated a boundary.
"You are not answering the question."
Aiden decided to be flippant.
"I don't know what Han likes or doesn't like."
"You are sleeping with him aren't you?" White finally accused.
"No I am not!" Aiden protested.
"Why are you lying!"
White blazed which sent terror through Aiden."
"It's the truth, I am not sleeping with Han," Aiden replied as calmly as possible to ease the tenseness of the situation.
Not believing Aiden White increased the intensity of his grip in a punishing hold.
"You are hurting me," Aiden stammered wondering how White found out about Han.
White let go of his brutal hold and flipped over the breakfast table.
And though his yogurt bowl was now on the floor Aiden remained calm.
White got up and took his tennis bag.
Moments later Aiden heard the front door closing and soon after the sound of the Jaguar driving away.
With White gone Aiden could not resist rubbing his tingling fingers that had been crushed.
After flipping the breakfast table over White drove to a tennis academy and while on his way to the hard tennis courts he ran into Han who had finished playing and was leaving.
Immediately White confronted Han by blocking his way with his tennis racket.
"Don't you feel ashamed going after what does not belong to you?"
Han yanked the racket from White and threw it away.
"Let's get one thing straight... Aiden was never yours in the first place."
White grabs Han by the collar.
"Do not provoke me or else you will be sorry."
Han only laughed at him.
"What are you afraid off? Are you scared you will lose Aiden to me?"
White punched Han to the ground before kicking him in the stomach violently.
"I just want you to stop harassing Aiden!"
"I will only stop if Aiden wants me to stop." Han retorted defiantly.
White kicks Han in the stomach again.
"Shut your mouth and don't show your face around Aiden again. That's my final warning to you."
Aiden sat down at the writing desk with a heavy heart as a lot of things weighed upon him.
Reaching for a pen and paper he quickly scribbled a short message for White.
Dear White
It will be better if we do not see each other again. So I have decided to leave and go back to the city.
Please believe that I am trying to do the right thing.
I hope you will always be happy.
Love
Aiden.
Aiden looked the message over again before folding and pushing it into an envelope.
In the process Aiden felt foolish and weak as he thought about whether or if White would have accepted his decision to leave.
Aiden sealed the envelope and reasoned that there no use thinking about what might have been.
Aiden was contemplating where to put the envelope when he heard White come into the house.
"Aiden, where are you" White called out.
Aiden froze.
And when White finally found Aiden felt his heart dropped to the floor.
White had with him a transparent rectangular box that was filled with long-stemmed red roses.
As he gave the box to Aiden White noticed the envelope with his name on it.
"Are you leaving me?"
White asked as he already knew the contents of the envelope without reading it.
"I think we should take a break from each other," Aiden felt more self-conscious as he said this.
White knelt down before Aiden.
"I know I allow my actions to get the better part of me. But I don't want us to take a break from each other."
"I see the questions and the doubts in your eyes and I know I have made mistakes but I will never break your heart."
"And I am really sorry for the way I behaved this morning. I promise never to do that again. And I also promise to love you with my piece of my heart going forward because I am prepared to fight for you."
