
I wasn’t planning on doing this, but @kont_drakula on Wattpadwas asking about my mom’s meatloaf recipe, so here you go. It’s really quick and easy, and it’s substitution-friendly, so swapping the milk out for a non-dairy alternative or even the ground beef for another meat or vegetarian alternative should work fine (although if you change the meat, you’ll have to watch closely while it bakes and maybe adjust the baking time).6Please respect copyright.PENANAwDDq0tnY22
Ingredients: Meatloaf
- 2 pounds ground beef
- 1 egg
- ¼ cup milk
- ¾ cup oatmeal
- 1 package dry onion soup mix
- 2 tablespoons ketchup
- 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
- ¼ teaspoon black pepper
Ingredients: Topping
- 2 tablespoons ketchup
- 2 teaspoons mustard
- ¼ cup brown sugar
Supplies
- Measuring cups, tablespoons, and teaspoons
- Mixing bowls (one large, one small)
- Food preparation gloves (optional)
- Bread loaf pan
Directions
- Set the oven to 375 degrees Fahrenheit, wash your hands well, and get the ingredients and supplies ready.
- Add all the meatloaf ingredients into the large mixing bowl and mix well with your hands. Put into the loaf pan.
- Add all the topping ingredients into the small mixing bowl and stir well. Pour onto the meatloaf.
- Bake for 55 to 60 minutes.
