Some yell, scream, kick, and fight.
Others cry and are better in ten minutes.
Many make light of it all and crack jokes to forget.
Quiet a few bottle it up so that they’re never a burden to others.
Still more just let it stew clearly hurting but never talking about their problem.
Those who fight might be scared of getting hurt by others again so their mean and bristly so no one gets close.
Those who cry might be normally happy with themselves and their friends knowing that they are supported and loved with those who really do care.
Those who joke about it might be just too afraid to show that they’re hurting.
Those who bottle it up might just not want to bother others so they keep it all buried in their chest until they can’t keep it anymore. Focusing on everyone else’s problems so they don’t have to think about what they suppress.
Those who stew might just want to know that someone does actually care even if the problem isn’t that big.
