Cahoots underground, a famous pub in London, known for its cheap yet quality alcohol . That's not the reason I was here though, I had come seeking its lesser known traits , such as being an information hub with many network's.
I , however personally prefer the one William Shakespeare, 'the famous poet' went too during his time . The massive public focus in this place is because it's the area where the latest case happened , the case itself gives an odd vibe of supernatural and death with everything not quite adding up .
The report goes as follows , " The drunken Bard's pub on 3 July 1910 , under the reigning monarchy , was besieged by a squadron of royal soldiers '', It had originally been a bad area - incidents usually being kept under the wraps , except the case was one too big this time , it had gone public causing havoc , thus the engagement of the royal soldiers . " The scene happened in the pub " , according to various sources and watching bystanders , " It had been another normal working - dull day , and when evening struck most of us went to the pub , to drink a cup of cold beer and a little pleasure from those ladies " recounted a man who had been there at the time it happened .
Now , the waiter serving drinks had slipped on the wet floor , causing the beverages to go flying to the circuit board - cutting of the lights. During the period of darkness a sound was heard upstairs, a loud thud then another , many more following.
This is where the chaos ensued , with people thrashing and panicking , ladies screaming bloody murder , questions as to why there were sounds above, sadly falling to deaf ears in midst of the noise.
When questioned why they didn't exit through the door , they responded " The door was somehow locked , didn't even budge when three buff guys banged against it" , recounted a woman .
This of course lead to people barricading and crushing each other to reach the door , but the one version of this story that adds a bit of realism is , one person , some time during the intervals at which the sounds were made , heard the distinct sound of a chainsaw , the statement didn't weigh much because , when viewing the scene, the bodies had not been mutilated to the point of the body parts being strewn around, no , the killer opted for a simple clean cut detaching the head from the body .
Which was discovered when a paramedic lifted it , erupting a shrill scream from the poor woman .
I had found it to be funny , you can't really blame me much as I have with time attuned my eyes to such sights . The scene was not as gruesome as the last , it was just one dead body .
A man , six feet tall , blond hair , purple skin most likely caused by rigor mortis, family members recount he was rather tan when alive . Facial features are as follows, blue eyes , pink lips , quite chapped if I must comment . A bit of peach fuzz growing and lady-killer cheekbones.
Background, he frequented the pub most days and was a regular. Remembered for always taking a girl upstairs , he is , well , was twenty-seven and a straight-up deadbeat.
Attire , a grey old thick coat and paired with green boots clean underneath, indicating he worked in a factory, not outside. He had black high-waist pants and was evidently, not a fashionista.
Right , medical history Maddison continued sighingly . Had a few run-in with loan sharks , but in this day and age who hasn't.
The waiter was definitely an accomplice, no one can a spill a tray of drinks they carry everyday , and just when the lights need to go out , definitely suspicious I added trying to piece everything together .
"Detective Maddison, what have you managed to figure out so far ?", asked Louis Clearwater , senior officer of the king's guard , also a womanizer and daddy's boy , currently someone who doesn't greet . He's not really serious about his work , but had to come out and play deputy because the case happened in an arena under his jurisdiction.
" No , not at all officer , apologies" , He says with disinterest , " I'll contact you when I have something " .
" Sure detective! ", he says slyly with a badly done wink resembling a twitching eye . I should also add terrible flirt , regardless of the gender of his partners , I'm confident all would have some sort of hatred for that eye , then again he's brave being a homosexual , especially coming from a high-born family , but to each man his own .
Now , time to go home and rethink my whole career .
