After a couple months of waiting, I received a heart-wrenching reply from Bishop Hao Shi. He told me that although he couldn’t locate my daughter’s body, he was 100% sure from the indication given to him by lord Ensieth, that she had died years prior. Just a couple of days after giving birth to her child.

Since then, I never returned to this godforsaken city that took away my daughter again, until yesterday.” Tears couldn’t help but fall from Micas’ old eyes, as he finished his last sentence. Lain, and Annette also felt extremely depressed listening to his words, as the room fell into silence for a couple of minutes, after his speech ended.
After weeping for a couple minutes, Micas slowly wiped away the tears falling from his eyes, before he turned his head towards the door, to see Hui Shi, Trent, and Edward walk into the living room from it.
Entering the room, Edward quickly felt the depressive aura coming from the bodies of the three sitting on his sofa. He then walked in front of the depressed Micas, before kneeling down and bowing his head, as he said, “Great lord, I beg your forgiveness.”
“He’s the father of your grandchild, Micas. Go easy on him. He’s not a bad man to have as a son-in-law.” Trent, seeing this, couldn’t help but chime in as well, as he started to see the anger well up in the eyes of Micas, as Micas stared at the kneeling Edward.
Sighing, after feeling the healing warmth that emanated from Hui Shi’s glowing body, Micas finally let go of his hatred for the kneeling Edward before him, before saying to him, “Get up, child. Pack your bags, and I’ll take you and my granddaughter back home where it’s safer under my protection.”
After saying this, Micas couldn’t help but lean back on the sofa, as he rested his head, and closed his eyes in sadness.
Edward on the other hand, quickly rushed into his bedroom, for a few minutes, before heading to the kitchen, for another few minutes, and then heading to another room, with a doorway that led to it from the right side of the kitchen.
