When I climb Lion Rock alone in spare time with no tight schedule or planned sightseeing, I simply stand atop the mountain and let the wind brush past me. Countless subtle emotions well up quietly in my heart. Looking afar at the mountain ridge, the stone lion lies still. It delivers no overwhelming grandeur, yet holds quiet and gentle warmth, embracing every ordinary soul living down the hill silently.
從小聽慣獅子山下的歌，以往只覺旋律動人，長大後親臨山頭，才懂歌裡藏的從不是宏大的道理，而是市井小人物真實的喜怒與奔波。這座山看過無數普通人的日常：下班擠車歸家的疲憊，為生活咬牙堅持的無奈，失意時獨自在山間散心的孤獨，還有平凡日子裡互相幫襯的溫柔。
I have grown up listening to the song Beneath the Lion Rock. I was once merely touched by its melody, until I stood on the mountain in person. I finally understand the song never tells grand truths, but records the real joys, sorrows and struggles of ordinary townsfolk. This mountain witnesses countless daily moments of common people: tired commuters heading home after work, people holding on toughly amid life pressures, lonely wanderers healing their frustration on the hillside, and simple kindness shared by strangers in ordinary days.
城市越來越繁華，高樓遮擋視線，生活節奏越來越快，人人都行色匆匆。我們總是忙於追逐前路，很少停下來回望初心。而獅子山一直留在原地，不爭不鬧，不隨城市浮躁而改變。無論開心或是難過，只要抬頭望見這座山，內心就會莫名安定下來。
The city grows increasingly prosperous with skyscrapers blocking the view, and everyone lives a fast-paced hurried life. We keep chasing the future endlessly and seldom pause to look back. Yet Lion Rock stays right here all the time, calm and unperturbed, never drifting with the restless city. Whenever we feel joyful or lost, a glance at this ancient mountain can calm our restless hearts instantly.
夕陽緩緩落下，餘暉染紅維港海面，山下萬家燈火逐一点亮。這一山、一城、一眾凡人，沒有轟轟烈烈的故事，只有細水長流的陪伴。
The sun sinks slowly, dyeing Victoria Harbour crimson with sunset glow, while thousands of city lights flicker on down the hill. This mountain, this city and every ordinary resident hold no spectacular stories, but accompany one another gently day after day.
其實獅子山從來不是一座象徵偉大的山，它只是香港人的一個心靈港灣。容納我們的疲憊，體諒我們的平凡，提醒我們：認真生活，善待自己，守住心底的溫柔，便是最難得的勇敢。
