When Amanda was four years old her mother left Amanda and her sister Jane in a car in front of her childhood house for four days, finally when Amanda’s mother came back, she told both girls they were leaving and they’re going to stay with their Grandparents in a small country town called Hogsback. Over the next few months both Amanda And Jasmine became very close friends and although Thomas was always there, Jasmine felt that Thomas and Amanda did and didn't click in any type of friendship, all three although most of the time Thomas was adamant about going all the places the girls wanted to go, he still seemed to always give in and go for example when Amanda would sneak out and the girls wanted to go to the beach, Thomas would complain about the sand and the heat but in the end once they’ve been there for a while he started to have fun and this was normal for Jasmine, Thomas was always like this but for Amanda she saw it as weird.
