My mind goes blank at lea's words.
"What did you just say?" I say slowly as the color drains from my face.
Lea looks down broken hearted, my heart feels empty and my hidden anger starts to boil over.
"What happened to him?! When why is he suddenly dead?!"
Lea doesn't say a single word.
'Why is she so quiet? This is very important to me, what happened to him?' I think to myself bitterly.
"Raiden, he died two weeks ago." Lea spoke up, she sounded like she was about to cry.
I looked down, I was devastated "Why did he die two weeks ago? How come I didn't know about it?" I said in a low tone. Lea looked up at me.
"Raiden, he died in a car accident, it was also the time..."
She stopped talking after that. I couldn't believe this imbecile knew so much either. Did she cause his accident? No, she would actually have to be smart pull that off. I still wanted to know what she was talking about before she got all quiet on me.
It was strange because, this thing never once got quiet. I pulled my head up and stared at her until I asked her a question.
"What was also the time? What else happened after that?"
She bit her lip even harder, she looked like she was struggling to tell me the truth. I spoke more coldly at her response.
"I will ask you one more time lea. What else happened that night?"
She shook her head and stood up.
"I'm so sorry raiden, but I can't tell you" she said as she looked down at the floor.
I looked away from the retarded fool known as a girl.
"Leave" I said even colder than before.
Lea blinked then looked at me worried as she tried to persuade me to let her stay for a little while longer.
"Raiden, please hear me out. The reason I said that I couldn't tell you is because I don't think that you are ready, raiden I'm-"
I cut off her pitiful pleading.
"Shut up already! I am sick and tired of your presence! Leave me alone and never follow me again okay?!"
My anger was boiling out, I was exploding from the stress and anger itself. Lea clenched her fists as she took every insult that I had in store for her.
"You are so annoying that I actually feel bad for your parents just because they have to deal with you every day! Why can't you just go to hell already?!"
I kept getting louder and louder until the staff rushed in.
They told lea that she should probably go home, she didn't fight them. She looked depressed as she walked out of the door, the nurses came to change my IV fluids. I glanced at her and asked her a question.
"Hey, how did I get here? Can you tell me what happened?" She doesn't look up at me even once.
"Mr. Thomas, I am not your doctor, so I am not allowed to tell you any information on what happened to you or when it happened to you.
She sounded annoyed by my question, if she was in my position then I know damn well she would want answers just as badly as I do. I sighed softly then stared at the ceiling.
"Can you at least tell me when my doctor will be here?" I question her trying not to sound irritated by her sudden attitude.
She sighs heavily in response.
"Hey, can you shut the fuck up? Does that answer your question?"
She stood up after checking the heart monitor and giving me medicine in the form of a needle. She left slamming the door.
I looked to the left side of the room, at least I had a room all to myself in the very least. A single tear fell down from my cheek as I looked out the window.
"I see, a happy family in that cloud..." I mumbled to myself as the tears continued to flow from my eyelids. I was mentally laughing at how pathetic I was being right now.
'Why? Why am I crying so much? Everyone's parents die at one point in their life, some don't even have parents....so why?'
I thought as I questioned myself, wondering why so much water fled from my eyelids.
I told myself that I wouldn't worry about all the details right now, the medicine she gave me was probably sleeping medicine because I feel so tired. I tried to stay up for a few more hours, but the body won over the mind once again. I drifted off to sleep after drinking water. I slowly opened my eyes as I felt the cool breeze go over my skin.
This time, I was laying underneath a tree on the grass. The ground was very hard but the wind felt so good, I stood up from the grass whispering to myself
"I wonder if anyone here knows the answer to my questions. I doubt that they would tell me of course, but I might as well try right?"
Just as I am about to stand up, someone pounces on me.
I was shocked that someone would do that all of a sudden, I look up at the person who pounced on me. I couldn't see the person's face very well, all I could see was a black eyes and red pupils.
"Get off me!" I hissed out at the stranger as I try to kick him or her.
Whoever it is, is extremely strong. I struggled to get away but the person just tighten their grip on my arm.
I heard the person snicker and talk in a sinister way.
"I finally found you, now I can finally taste you blood raiden, hahaha".
The person leaned into my neck and their teeth sharpened and grew longer, their teeth was about to pierce my skin. Right at that moment, the person loosened its grip on me. I felt liquid squirt all over the place, I looked at the person and saw that they were laying down on the grass with no head.
"Are you okay raiden?"
I heard that familiar voice before, I looked up and saw that kiara was extending her arm out to help me up.
I didn't need her help, so I slapped her hand away. She sighed and walked out in the light, her entire body was covered in blood. I bet it was that person's blood that attacked me just now.
"Did that thing hurt you?" She asked me slightly concerned as she got her phone out and began using it.
"Yes I'm fine, you have blood all over you by the way, so could you wipe that shit off?" I grumbled out disgusted.
She didn't respond to my demanded request, all she did was put her phone on the floor and a big wide screen appeared in front of her. All of it looked like a big computer base wide screen.
"Hey kiara you called?!"
We both turned or head to the cheerful voice, it was that cupid idiot. What was her name again?
"Erin could you take raiden, I have to do research and I need peace and quiet" kiara said very monotone, breaking up my thoughts.
Oh right, her name was erin.
"Oh, raiden is back?! Cool! Now I can mess with him again!"
Her voice just kept on getting louder and louder.
"Will you shut up already?!" Screaming out her irritation, wasn't the best action.
It did shut her up though, it was because kiara told her that if she didn't shut up, she would take her Sebastian plushy. I have no idea what that was, but i didn't care as long as she would shut up her screeching sounds, she looked at the person under the tree.
"Did this thing attack raiden?"
Her cheerful voice faded and replaced itself with anger and deep hatred. Kiara walked up to me, and then turned to face erin again.
"Yes erin, that monster did attack raiden. He is fine though because I killed it, don't worry about it" she sounded slightly angry and yet deep in thought. I stayed quiet because I have no idea what the actual hell is going on right now, erin walked towards the dead body and withdraw an arrow out of nowhere.
"That is unacceptable to be kind to a thing such as this" she sounded cold and desolate.
She brought an arrow up and swung it downwards into the creature's heart, it didn't move at all. I suppose it was dead already anyway, she kept stabbing it over and over again. She would pull out the intestines as they made a 'squish squish' sound in her hand. Her eyes are glowing bright pink the entire time.
"Erin, that is enough, it is already dead so calm down".
Kiara walked over to erin and shook her roughly. Erin blinked a few times, then stepped back from the corpse.
"I-I'm sorry kima-chan it's just, stress".
Erin said while looking down at her blood stained hands. Kiara didn't say anything for a few minutes, she just sighed and walked away mumbling.
"We are all stressed out erin, not just you".
Erin continued to look down for a few seconds then picked her head up, she had her signature smile back on her face.
"Ok! Let's go see the leader, come on raiden-kun! I promise I won't fly you there this time!"
She seems to be covering up her sadness again, how annoying can she get? I walked over to her and grabbed her arm, she yelped out in response. I didn't care for her at all, but I might as well get her to take me there by foot rather than by flying, as I dangle on her arm.
"W-What are you doing raiden?!"
Her screeching sounds came back, great. I rolled my eyes and ignored her frantic screaming.
"Where is your leader erin?" I asked unamused as I continued to hold her hand. It took a few minutes for her to actually respond, but when she did, she stuttered out.
"T-To the left s-side..." I followed her directions to where they were, I could hear her heart thumping loudly the entire time, but I couldn't see her red blushing cheeks.
Soon, we found a brown cabin house with a swing set on the tree. There was no one there yet, it honestly looked abandoned. I looked up at the sky. The aroma of the sky was very colorful, it had the colors light orange, turquoise and red. Erin waved her hand back and forth across my face as I continued to stare up at the sky.
"Hey! You there raiden? Geez, we are going to be late if you don't snap out of it!" She started ranting.
I didn't pay much attention to her or her rant, for some reason, the sky felt calming. I felt my body being lifted, at that moment I snap out of my trance. I looked down, I was several miles up in the air by now.
"Let me down erin!"
I demanded quite upset that she picked me up into the air without my consent whatsoever, she mimicked what I said just a second ago and continued to fly forward. She was already peeving me off, and I just got here!
Seriously, I wish I could set her on fire or something. The saddest thing about it, is that I would rather have that stupid midnight guide me there rather than this moron.
"Hey raiden, you ok down there? We are almost there you know".
She snickered at my position and I glared up at her.
"You are a total asshole you know that? If you were in my position you would want to get there sooner two!"
This brat was stressing me out again, no matter how much I yell at her, she continues to mess with me.
"Stop teasing him erin, i will guide him the rest of the way there by foot"
The voice belonged to the girl whose name i still didn't know. Erin stopped laughing and looked serious for a second.
"Are you sure ma'am? You would have to go through the forbidden forest to get there".
The girl flew over to me and hugged my dangling body.
"Yes, I am absolutely sure erin, you know if anything happens to raiden I will personally take care of it".
The girl said hugging me even tighter, I felt like my whole body was being crushed. Erin's serious face faded away and was replaced with an extra bright smile.
"OK! Just call me if anything gets messy though, ok? I'll kill them for you! Then we can have a nice dinner".
She says cheerfully. The girl stares at erin for a bit then pulls me away from her.
"Don't do anything reckless erin" that's all she says before bringing me down to the dark green grass.
In the distance I heard erin holler.
"Don't worry! I'll be fine! See you two later!"
The girl walks ahead of me then stops after a few minutes to check up on me I suppose, I always wanted to know her name because I get irritated when I can't even insult her just because I don't know her name.
"Hey, why do those idiots never call you by your real name? Why do they call you ma'am or leader?"
I question her curiously, she doesn't say anything. She turns around and continues to walk ahead of me.
I would say that was what she would usually do, but her actions were suspicious.
"Do you like it here raiden?" She asks me after a few minutes, I could tell that it was a forced attempt to change the topic.
That was a sad act and I could see right through it.
"Why don't you want to tell me your name? Are you scared of people knowing your name or something?"
I bring up the topic again, she stops walking. She turns around and stares me straight in the eyes.
"I can't tell you my name because I am not allowed to, no one is to speak of my real name" She responded coldly.
I was getting ticked off, 'is a name really that important?' I think to myself angry as I glare at her.
"Yes, my name is forbidden" she responds to my thoughts as she glares right back at me.
We stay in that position until there is a rustle in the bushes, the girl pushes me aside while taking out an axe with a wide metal shield.
"Raiden, get behind me, you'll be safe" she said forcing me behind her.
I clenched my fists tightly as I ran into the bush and grabbed whoever was in there.
"Raiden! What are you doing?!"
The girl sounded ballistic as I looked at the person, it was no other than midnight. My mind went blank as I showed the girl that the person was from her crew, she calmed down and pet midnight's head softly.
"Touko-chan....Shion-chan..." Midnight mumbles out, apparently he is asleep.
The girl shakes midnight violently as soon as he mentions the two names. The girl grabs him as he starts to wake up.
"Uh....Ma'am? Are you ok?" Midnight says while rubbing his eyes.
"You said the forbidden names midnight...." The girl mumbles out as the atmosphere turns dark.
"What?" Midnight says as he blinks dumbfounded.
I tilt my head in confusion at the whole scene.
"What's so bad about saying two names?" I asked unamused as midnight gets on his hands and knees and begs for forgiveness.
The girl gaze turns to me.
"You really are annoying aren't you?"
She mumbles as she pulls a black cloak out and wraps it around her entire body.

One of the two girls had long fiery red hair that was tied in two pigtails, she also had fair skin with blueish purple eyes. She was wearing a pink sundress and had a smile on her face, the other girl looked like her complete opposite.
She had pale skin with silvery white hair, her eyes were bright red and she was wearing black glasses and a black Lolita outfit.
Then, there was a third, the girl in the cloak. I didn't understand what was going on anymore. First, the girl was mad at the cat boy because he said two names. Then, three girls are right in front of my eyes. This place never made any sense, I don't know why I would come here over and over again. This has been confirmed a dream, the pain is all in my head. Midnight's ears dropped down as he looked at the three girls.
"I-I'm sorry for disobeying you!"
The girl with the sun dress smiled at him as she ran over to him and hugged him tightly.
The gothic looking girl kept quiet, all she did was push her glasses up and look at midnight disapprovingly. But the girl in the cloak silently walked over to the cat boy and pulled the cheerful idiot off him. "
You are spoiling him too much Shion, learn to be more, strict" she said coolly, as she stared at midnight.
The one named shion pouted and screeched.
"But! He is so adorable! I don't think he should try so hard to be a part of it".
Shion looked down sadly as the gothic girl put her hand on her shoulder.
"Stop screaming shion, it's inappropriate. But mistress, I don't think he is ready yet" the girl said quietly.
"Touko, do not doubt someone because they may be too weak or too strong. You must have faith in them no matter what ".
The girl said without even thinking about turning around, she embraced the crying little cat boy. I awkwardly stood there while still trying to grasp the situation, I felt a slight tug on my shirt. I glanced down at my elbow, I saw shion who was crouching down for some reason.
"Hey raiden, let's go before we get kicked" she smiled slightly.
"Shion, stop messing around, we must take him there now" Touko said coldly as she looked at her watch.
"S-sorry touko-chan" Shion said while looking uncomfortable.
These two seemed strange, I think they knew that girl or as they call her 'ma'am/ leader'. 'I feel like these two are total opposites, were they one of those opposites attract kind of friends? Wait, why am I thinking so hard about this?! I think that I just keep getting on my own nerves'. As I think this to myself, touko grabs my arm and a pair of black demonic wings spring from her back.
"Hold on tight" she mumbles as she flaps her wing up, I don't even have anytime to tell her to stop because she flaps them back down in a fast motion.
"Hey! Let me down!" I shout at her as my anger was starting to boil over once more.
I don't know much about these people, but I do know that they sure know how to get me angry.
"Hey! Are you two going to the secret hideout?"
Hearing the screeching beast, I am forcefully turned around to see that it was shion. She had angelic white wings, I think that she her appearance became less stupid. That girl who was still leaving me dangled in the air spoke up.
"Yes, we are shion. Please don't do anything stupid".
She raised her other hand and I saw a small black hole, she raised me up even higher.
"What do you think you are doing?"
Saying this with self-consciousness I feel sweat run down my skin.
"Please tell me that you are not seriously considering to throw me into that black hole, are you?"
Sounding slightly nervous I stare at her profile, she doesn't look fazed at all. Even that idiot named shion left.
"Don't worry, you'll be fine" were the last words she said before tossing me into the black hole.
Everything became dark, my body was in midair, and I thought that I was going to die instantly. I was still okay for some strange reason, I felt someone leaning on my chest, and I was going to push the intruder laying on my chest away. In the corner of my eye, I saw a bright light.
"Wow" I mumbled out as I felt the person flinch.
When I got a good look at the person, I saw that it was a girl. As she was waking up I saw the moon and stars in her eyes, she looked up at me and I was taken aback. Her eyes softened as she smiled up at me.
"Let's play one last time, raiden."
She whispered softly as she got closer to my face, it was strange. I didn't feel the need to fight back to her, she leaned in closer to where our lips were about to touch. I wasn't sure why I hugged her so tightly, but everything felt so right. It was like it was on instinct rather than a choice I could make. I felt the gentle light pour on me before her lips caressed mine.
"Raiden! You awake? Get up already!"
I heard a distant voice call out my name, I flinched at the sudden shaking. My eyelids slowly opened, I saw that I was in a big white and red room. It was basically sparkling at how shiny it was, there was a lot of manga, figurines, plushies and anime everywhere.
'I must still be dreaming aren't I?' I think uninterested as I look around a bit.
"Hey! I told you that this is not a dream remember?!"
The shouting voice didn't sound familiar, I mean I could name three idiots that sounded close to it though. This time, I decided that I was going to ignore whoever it was and look for the others, why? Because I want to know what happened to my father and what happened to me. I started to walk away from the random person.
"Hey wait!" After hearing the frantic voice I was trampled over.
I fall down a set of steps, head first. Then I'm used as a pillow for the person who knocked me down.
"Oof! Opps! I'm sorry raiden! Meow!~"
My mind goes blank for a few seconds then my eyes widen.
"Get off me midnight!"
I was disgusted that a male was trying to get all over me, I glanced up to what a young looking girl with short dark forest green hair, dark plum purple eyes with cat ears and tail. I blinked slowly, then I automatically pushed the girl off me. I could hear her grumble.
"Hey! What was that for?! Meow!" She roared out as her tail swished back and forth while her right ear was twitching.
I got up from the floor, I wiped the dust off my clothing.
"Oh! I can help!"
She sounded cheerful, I ignored her and continued to wipe her germs off me. I paused what I was doing and blinked momentarily.
"What, what the hell are you doing?!"
I screamed out as the person I believe is midnight is licking my shirt.
"Stop yelling, I was cleaning your shirt silly!"
She said slightly ticked off as her ears dropped down. I put my hand to my face exhausted.
"You know what, whatever, that's what. Just don't touch me midnight" I said bored to death.
Her ears perked up, then she pouted and stood up straight. Jesus Christ, she looked like she was four feet and eleven inches. I was practically toppling over her. I stared at her in disbelief that anyone could be any shorter than lea was. She noticed my gaze and blushed slightly, then she glared at me.
"W-Why are you staring at me?!"
Sounding embarrassed and slightly angry, she hit me with a frying pan.
"What was that for?!" I asked angrily as I held my now throbbing head.
She turned away from me while making an 'hmp' sound. I grabbed her tail then squeezed it tightly.
"Ow, ow owie!! S-stop!" She cried out as my head throbbed even more.
"No way, not until you apologize and tell me how you turned into a girl you pervert".
My head felt like it was going to explode from her constant screaming, after she finally calmed down she guided me to a bed and sat down. She sighed as she looked out the window while holding her tail.
"First off, I am not a pervert. Secondly...." She started off but trailed off, this was annoying and I needed to find someone...less stupid.
I stood up and was ready to walk out of the door, before I could exit the door I felt someone leaning on my chest. I looked down and saw midnight, well, midnight as a girl. I stopped moving, I don't know why, but he reminded me of that girl I met in the black hole.
"Please, don't go raiden..."
She sounded lonely, it didn't even sound like that idiotic cat. Raising my arm, i put my hand on her head and rub her head softly. Her eyes widened then softened, she put her head in my chest as I hugged her.
"I won't leave just yet stupid, so don't worry".
After we stopped hugging, he told me that him and that girl in the cloak basically joined together to form one body. It wasn't a fusion, it was more so the girl letting him be a part of her. He could easily separate himself from her. It only works when she is asleep and she had to resemble the person apart of her, apparently touko and shion are also a part of her two. It wasn't that surprising, I didn't really care about all the complicated stuff, but I did want to speak to the girl.
"Can I speak to the girl?"
I question midnight bored of his constant talking, he looks down then smiles awkwardly.
"Um, I'm not sure if that is a good idea" he said looking at his feet.
'Of course, it's probably because he knows that I want answers' I sighed out in irritation as I stood up once more.
"That's not true raiden".
That was a low voice I knew too well. I looked at the girl in a cloak that sat on the bed.
"So you finally show your true colors?" I say seriously as I gaze at her profile.
She doesn't say anything, I sit down right beside her.
"Tell me what happened to my father, and what happened to me".
I demanded as she looked out the shimmering window, I knew that this information wasn't easy to receive, but it was very important to me. I knew that I shouldn't force the information out of her, so I scoot closer to her and gently lay my hand on hers. She turns around startled.
"What are you doing?"
Trying not to sound surprised, she scoots farther away.
"Can you, tell me what happened?"
Sounding very serious, I put my hand gently on her cheek. Her cloak was in the way, but I was able to gently caress her cheek. I felt something wet on my arm, my best guess would be that she was crying, she didn't make any noise though. Just when I was about to take the hood part to her cloak off, she slapped my hand away then stood up quickly.
"....Don't take it off...." she said coldly before she ran out.
'I think, I might have fucked up...yup, definitely fucked up...' thinking to myself frustrated, I stare at the wall.
I felt like I was getting closer to her to, she must really be crazy about keeping her identity a secret. I fall on the bed overcome with exhaustion.
"Nobody is going to tell me what really happened are they?"
Mumbling out with irritation I turn around so that my back is facing the balcony. As I close my ears I hear a serious voice say.
"Do you really want to know what happened that badly raiden?"
I open my eyes and notice that I am in the black hole again, I'm floating in the darkness without even knowing.
'How did I get here again?' My thoughts turn into curiosity as I look around, there wasn't much to see since it was so dark in here. Suddenly, I see a small light.
"Raiden, do you think that you are ready to hear what truly happened?"
The voice was angelic yet very serious and mysterious, I crept closer to the voice as I see the girl before, and when she is standing I can tell that she has to be at least four feet and seven inches.
"Yes, I have been ready this entire time" saying this with a straight face as I am right in front of her.
I couldn't tell if she looked younger or what, she had long jet black hair with dark brown eyes. Her skin was more so medium light brown, she grabbed my hand upon hearing my words as she smiled.
"Follow me then".
She led me into the light. I couldn't see anything for a few seconds, but then I saw hundreds of videos in front of me.
"These are memories, they are not only yours though raiden, please don't look at anyone else's, it will break the law and I will die."
She didn't sound like she was scared of death, she sounded like there was something she held dear and couldn't be apart from that.
"Don't worry, I'm not interested in anyone else's memories, I am only interested in what happened to my father and me."
The girl looked down.
"Raiden, you can't see your father's memories, you can only see your memories remember?"
She said sadly as she held my hand tighter, I sighed knowing that this wasn't going to be that easy.
"Fine, whatever, just take me there" grumbling in annoyance I am guided to my most recent memories.
I see that someone drugged me in a dark hallway, then after a few hours, the screen shows me being carried to a car, then the screen turns static. I didn't understand what was going on at all, it was too short and it didn't make any sense whatsoever. I tilted my head.
"How does that answer my question? What was any of that even supposed to mean?!"
I shouted out while clenching my fists in balls.
"Raiden, that is all you remember, you can't be mad at anyone but yourself..." she says lonesome as she looks worried.
I didn't want to admit it, but she was right. I was mad at myself because I couldn't remember what happened to me or anything. I was just letting my anger out on everyone else. 'Still, none of that explains why I was in the hospital for two weeks and don't remember why'. She lets go of my hand.
"Let me tell you something raiden, you are in the hospital because you were in the car accident as well, the crash was deadly, you could have died, but you went into a coma instead, someone killed your dad on purpose raiden, who? You will have to figure that for yourself".
As she spoke up and told me what happened, I realize that I really am on my own for this one.
"Thanks, can I get out of here now?"
Asking boredly, she smiles gently then puts her hand on my left cheek.
"Of course, but please visit me again raiden".
She whispers softly as she leans her face in to give me a sweet peck on the lips, I didn't have time to react because she pulled her face away from mine and mouthed out words that didn't reach me.
I think she could tell because she smiled and waved at me, I woke up afterwards. I brought my fingers up to my lips. I know that the girl wasn't real, but for some reason I could still feel her soft lips lingering on my own. I needed to wake up now, I believe that I knew the truth now and I needed to uncover the mystery of how my father died. I wonder how my mother is taking all of this, probably well since this is her we're talking about. I stand up from the bed and look around the now dark blue shaded otaku room.
I was curious whose room this was, but I didn't want to think about a weirdo that is obsessed with fictional beings. I shudder at the very thought of it, it truly was disgusting, I head out the door to find a dark empty house, it took me a while to find a way out.
I walk into the woods, it was darker than usual, well actually, I never once was outside when the sun set.
"Raiden, what are you doing here this late at night? I thought that you were in your world, not ours".
The voice I heard didn't sound familiar to me, I turned around to see who it was, but I was tripped and pinned to the ground. I stared at the silhouette who had a peculiar weapon at my neck.
"Who are you?"
I understand that I said I would make it longer for this chapter, but I just couldn't I am very sorry that I made this chapter extremely short for everyone. I hope that you can all forgive me. I hope that I can do better in the future and not rush. I put some heart and soul into the love scene, please give me feedback on how you feel about this strange story so far please? Thank you for all your help.
