Moulded in plastic and shaped with porcelain she still stood small,
As petite, she was, weak, not being good in physical works, intellect was her peak.
She won the hearts of many princes around the kingdom, some sadly ending in captivity from her freedom.
But then one day she noticed, two princes in the forest,
She knew they were nobles from their sparkling tunics, but never once had she seen some so modest.
Chopping wood they were, collecting berries too, all for the frail, old granny who lived down Road Blue.
She grinned at them, but stayed hidden away; the reason behind this, she would not say.
Couple days flew by and in a month’s time a ball were to arrive, she had to invite people but she didn’t want to dive,
She eyed the list, royalty stained, and to her surprise, she came across those princes’ names!
Lord Ikami and Earl Akiyama, a nice ring. But to see if they were worthy, she placed a few challenges for their wings.

She smiled softly at The Earl, handing his sweater to someone shivering cold, not a soul about knew about her plan, the temperature being too low, she never told.
Next she ‘accidentally’ ordered the cake too big, servants struggling to even lift the darn thing, let alone open the gates to the hall.
The Lord came next, slightly late but she didn’t mind, she was more concerned if he had noticed at all,
She strided down to meet him, her hand he decided to kiss, pulling her in for a quick moment of bliss,
“I’ll be back shortly M’lady.” He bowed before excusing himself, jogging over and pushing open the gates for the servants and moving things along her shelf.
Her happiness flooded as she told herself: ‘one more challenge’

In the ballroom she coaxed both men, dancing with them and playing pretend, she sat with the Earl, –another girl taking the Lord– she swung her arm forward, knocking a topped wine glass on her swan themed gown.
”Oh no! Dear me.” Feigning innocence, she fluffed her stained gown, “My Love, let me help you.” The Earl offered immediately, hunching over slightly as he showed her a trick he learnt out of town.

Lastly was The Lord’s return, the night had ended and she bid them all goodbye–except for the Lord and the Earl–, she posed a soft smile, inviting them into her coronation hall.
”One last dance to finish them all?”
Both princes nodded, The Lord tossing out his invite first. She took it, pulling him into the middle. The waltz went on as normal, but she still added her trick.
Laying her head on his smooth chest, they swayed, she hid her lip’s growing curve; beginning to sniffle. “My Queen? Are you alright??” He asked, it wasn’t something heavy, just enough to make him tick.
Staying silent, she paid close attention to his response. He gently placed a hand ontop of her soft curls, continuing the dance. “I know what you’re doing, sneaky cat.” He stated, causing her to look up, her chin resting on a gem stapled into his suit.
“What I’m doing…?” She whispered, he nodded subtly, causing her to smile, ending the dance. She spun around with The Earl, head to head, hands on waist and interlaced and heel to boot.

Both dances ended and the young Queen held both their hands, “I won’t choose, you both have proven your worth. Both of you shall become King; but if one of you betray me, I shall not hesistate to reverse that promotion.” She told them with a smirk,
Both bowed in sync, but with a different pattern each, “Yes, My Queen.” and with that they both became two things: the Queen’s Kings and her advisors as well, both enjoying their lady’s quirk.
