So my friends an I all are very into anime, manga and Japanese culture in general and our school has a bi-annual trip to Japan in the September holidays. We all expressed interest and talked about it excitedly planning what we could do, arranging to see some exchange students we had made friends with in the past year at school. But when I go to my parents excitedly asking them if i can go they say "Sorry. We don't think you are responsible enough to go overseas."copyright protection4PENANATr9zK0GcXg

WHAT! I am 15, almost 16 and more responsible than my 13 year old sister who was allowed to go to America last holidays. All so her trip was to do with basketball, but she was able to go. My other two sisters at my age had both gone to Italy on the school tours, How am I any less responsible then them?copyright protection4PENANALnkMiGMPG9

I wanted to go bad. I am so jealous and I my way when they bring up the topic saying things like "Only 50 more days to go! I haven't  even started packing yet!" I have the urge to cry and punch them in the face. I know that is over reacting but every time it is brought up I have a burning in my chest and feel like throwing up. I am even angry at myself for being so jealous, such a First World problem. copyright protection4PENANA8iQL04FJO7
