Yo. Welcome to my story. This story is gonna be set in the One Piece world, but the character will be an OC from the Naruto universe… basically, she’ll be a shinobi. A shinobi pirate… now, doesn’t that sound interesting? Well, I hope you find it as interesting as I did. So… on with the story…
XOXOXO
Disclaimer: I do not own neither Naruto nor One Piece. Leave that ish to Oda-sensei and Kishimoto-sensei.

Chapter 1
Raindrops delicately pattered on Hiromi’s shoulders. Dreary. She smirked. The weather perfectly reflected her mood. It must be god’s way of laughing at her as she walked down to her execution. The irony wasn’t lost on the onlookers, either. As she walked past them, they mocked and jeered at her, triumphant in their little success.
‘Whatever,’ she mused. It wasn’t like there was anyone left to save her. She was the last of the Gintamashi clan. Well, her and her teammates. The ones that were just slaughtered a few hours ago. ‘I’m really the last one left now. Hn, who would have thought that the last survivor would be ME of all people?’. Her smirk evolved into a laugh, which earned her a blow to the head from her unamused captor. ‘Tch, stupid idiot.’, she internally grumbled, but still let her thoughts flow.
She was known to be of ‘impure’ blood. Her father had been a powerful shinobi in the Gintamashi clan. He was the head, in fact. The problem lied with her mother. Her mother was a powerful shinobi as well, but came from the infamous Uchiha clan. Her parent’s union was opposed by many, but with their respective influence in each of their clans, they pursued a relationship. And, within the span of a few months from their marriage, she was born.
Even at birth, she was an abnormal child. She had features from her father’s clan- the silky, silver head full of hair, and the tan skin. But from her mother’s side… she inherited the eyes. It is a commonly known fact that Uchihas have the ability to awaken the Sharingan that lies dormant in their blood, but only after an emotionally jarring experience. To her parent’s shock, when their beautiful little daughter opened her eyes to gaze at them for the first time, they were met with a pair of blood-red Sharingans.
The mother recovered from her shock fairly quickly, and fawned over her daughter. “Hitomi”, she cooed. Beautiful pupil, it meant. ‘Quite a fitting name regarding the circumstances’, mused her father. And on that day, Gintamashi Hitomi was brought into the world.
Her parents took her to one of the legendary Sannin, Senju Tsunade. After examining the baby, she reported her results. Her sharingan had been completely activated since birth. She would not seem to suffer any future consequences due to this genetic mutation, which after being investigated, showed not to be the first situation of such a case. It generally occurred when an Uchiha married an outsider to the clan who didn’t possess the sharingan. The benefits of having such a mutation included that she didn’t need to worry about her eyesight diminishing due to overuse of her eyes, as she was unable to deactivate her sharingan. The negatives included that she wouldn’t be able to use any of the jutsus passed down in the Gintamashi clan, just the eyes from the Uchiha bloodline limit.
Her parents adored their little Hitomi, and showered plenty of affection on her. But the surrounding clansmen were not as kind. She had been avoided from a young age due to her ‘menacing’ eyes. Few adults would willingly approach her, and even fewer children. But that mattered not, as she still had her dotting parents to run to.
But that all changed at the age of 8, when her parents were killed while going on a dangerous mission. The clan decided to allow her to stay, mostly due to pity and respect for her late father. But it mattered little to her, as that’s when she locked her heart away. She trained as a ninja for 14 years, and eventually attained the rank of jounin and joined the anbu.
Eventually, her clan was called to participate in the Great Shinobi War. They answered the call and every able-bodied ninja took part in it. Many went in, only a handful survived. She was one of them. The Gintamashi clan salvaged as much of their previous system as they could, but too much damage was done. Still, she and her team were sent on high risk missions. She guessed that it was either to maintain a sense of normalcy, or because her clan didn’t have a choice in the matter. But the reasons mattered little to her. Her job was to follow orders, and follow them she did.
And that is how she ended up in her current situation. While in the territory of an unknown, enemy clan, her teammates were wiped out in one fell swoop. Hitomi managed to defeat her attackers, but was eventually overwhelmed after mistakenly inhaling sleeping gas that one of her incompetent teammates used as a last ditch effort to survive . She fell and was soon captured. That is when her captors got a clear loot at her eyes. Startled, many of them fell back with exclamations spilling out of their mouths. An immediate consensus was formed: They wouldn’t kill her. At least not immediately. They would instead sacrifice her to their local deity.
Hitomi was brought back to reality when she was roughly pushed onto a fancy podium. Her captors were leering at her, while some sort of priest came out of a nearby tent, holding a large book. She kept a stoic face but felt her heartbeat increase when she saw a dozen men wheel out a large stone deity on a cart. As they slowly approached her, a sense of serenity engulfed her. ‘Well’, she thought,’I might as well die. It’s better than living in this shitty reality, doing these shitty missions. Maybe in the next world, I can finally get my own freedom. Hn. Freedom.’
A nasally voice rang out,”Gintamashi Hitomi, you have been chosen to be sacrificed to our dear and benevolent God. Be sure to be a dear wife to him in the other world,”. She snorted and muttered, “Fat chance,”. The priest glared at her, then broke out into a sadistic grin. “Well, no matter. Our benevolent god is patient and accepting of all women, so he will definitely enjoy our gift to him. Start the ceremony,”.
A chorus of chants rose up, and Hitomi closed her eyes. “Hn, I guess this is the end of the line for me. Let’s see what’s waiting for me on the other side, shall we?”.
She felt an uncomfortable tingling sensation. Kind of like a teleportation jutsu, if she wasn’t mistaken. Soon, the tingling stopped. Slowly, she opened her eyes. In front of her was a bustling city to the likes of which she had never seen before.
She unbound her hands, an easy task if there weren’t over 200 enemy jounin level shinobi analyzing her every move. She checked her body and for any signs of abnormalities. When she found none, she smirked.
“Hn, it looks like I’m not dead quite just yet,”.

Aaannnnddd, that’s a wrap folks. Whew, that took a lot of effort. Oh, by the way, this is my first every voluntary story, so please have mercy on me. So… yeah. Tell me what you think. We’ll learn more about Hitomi in the next chapters, so don’t nobody jump the gun just yet. Feel free to drop any reviews or suggestions you have, and…. have a nice day, I suppose.
