Hello Penana! The handle's Blondemaverick, but I also answer to 'Blondie', 'Karin-with-an-I', 'Hey, Baldie!', and 'Aren't you... that... you know?'

100 - 1500 words

Create a short story or poem about a carefully (or haphazardly) laid plan that goes sideways! Consider the consequences of your protagonist (or antagonist) failing/succeeding to improvise after their plot has gone wrong. Is the fate of the world at stake? Do they have a backup plan? Will their reaction be enough to save/rue the day? Inject the situation with irony and humor--or keep things dire and grave--It's all up to you!

Brevity is ideal, but if you need more than one issue to convey the depth of your tale, you are welcome to enter up to two additional times--That gives you up to 4500 words to craft with! However, any more than that and I may not have time to read it...

Cheers, and Happy Writing! I can't wait to read what you guys come up with!
