As a robot, he was still laid back, but he became wiser and more serious because of time. He doesn't care about being recognized for what he's done. As a robot, Doctor grew to care for others and repair them whenever they called. Back story: As a human, he had a best friend, Mike. While Mike pursued the path of being a businessman, Tori (at the time) wanted to be a scientist. After graduating from college with a degree, Tori worked at a research lab for some time before reuniting with Mike later in life. Quitting his job a week later, Tori and Mike lived together in an apartment. From there, Tori slowly built his lab in the apartment room's closet.
