I was on my way home, driving my car. A day passed again that we did not talk. I was pertaining to this guy who is now walking all alone in the street while there is a storm.

"Need a ride?" I stop near him and he glared at me.

"Is it obvious?" He said as he hug himself. He was freezing.

"get in." I said as he hurried inside my car.

Daniel and I are really close. Literally. Our house are just next door, our family are friends and we are friends since childhood.

Recently, things got apart when her slutty girlfriend Clarisse decided to flirt me and I told him about it. However, he chose to believe his girlfriends so he got angry with me. This afternoon, he just saw Clarisse flirting with another guy  with proved that I was right.

I think they broke up already. I will never make a move with any of the girls, little does he know, I like him.

"So what happened?" I asked him, I tried my best not to look at him while I'm driving.

"Worst day. I forgot to fuel up my car so I left it in school, broke up with Clarisse, it rained while I'm walking and I'm feeezing." He said. irritation was visible in him.

Our first conversation after he fight about Clarisse. Of course I don't know what else to ask so I decided lwt him rest and focus on driving.

"we're here man. take a shower when you get in." I said as I tap his face. He was hot. 

"Can't. get up..." Daniel said as I rushed and open the car and carried him in his house. 

I more masculine than him so it was easy carrying him. His parents are not around since they got a graveyard shift intheir work.

"Chase... I feel no good." He said as he started to spasm.

"I know, I know but first, you need to take a bath."

I'm currently washing the back of the person that I love  for eighteen years. How can I have self-control?

That night, I took advantage of the situation and made a move to my chilhood friend.

I left Daniel two hours before we go to school and I never showed my face in school to him. I bet he's angry of what I did.

I immediately go back home to avoid any collisions ith Daniel after school hours.

I rushed in my room and dip kyself in the tub. Do I really want this to happen? Me avoiding him forever?

"Took you long enough to get back here." It was Daniel doing his intimate stare while sitting in the toilet cover.

"When did yo-"

"I was here long before you got home. I told the teachers that I'm still not feeling good after that rain." Daniel cut me off. I was too distracted I didn't even saw him.

With that, I stand abruptly and decided to talk to him face to face. No more running away.

"Daniel listen. The thing is that I have a thing for you for many years now. If you can't deal with it fine, we can just forget about what happened start from that night and start again? Go back to where we supposed to be. I'm fine with that. I just don't want you to leave me because of this. This is so lame to end a twenty years of friendship right?

He blush and hug me "Why do you think I kept on screqing around for? I've been trying to let go of this feelings.
